How good...my wife cleared her plate! From entering to leaving the staff on made us feel special including our 9 year old daughter. We went for the special offer 3 courses for £12.50 I had calamari, pizza and a sweet all tasted fresh and well presented, my wife who doesn't do starters had the mushroom, pizza and a sweet and... When I visit friends in Bolton, this is a favourite. It's not extra special, but reliable and it's nice not to be at a pizza or Italian chain for once. The food is good and freshly cooked and the service attentive. They pride themselves on the desserts, especially the cheesecake and it is good - but the constant duff note... More

Visited last night for a birthday celebration of 9 people. Spotted family members and headed to our table. Was only just pulling out my chair when the waiter came and asked what I'd like to drink. I'm all for swift attentive service but let us take our seats first please. After asking for a minute to look through the drinks... More

We visited on a Saturday night. We booked about an hour before we arrived to secure a table and it's just as well we did as it was quite busy. We were welcomed in and felt relaxed. I had the tomato garlic bread to start but asked for some chillies on it to which they obliged. This was a good... More

The moment you walk in you feel the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and efficient, the food is freshly prepared and fantastic. The steak is perfection! Highly recommended and I will return soon.

Three of us ate at Ciao Napoli for our post theatre trip in Bolton, first impression was how quiet it the town and the restaurant was for a Friday night. For starters we shared the Italian bread with hummus, olive oil and balsamic dip, and a bowl of olives, which was very nice. For mains I ordered a chicken &... More

Three of us went for dinner here last night and once again, the food was very very good! Good choice of food and drinks and very good value for money. We got three starters and shared, they were all fantastic, mains were great, and the deserts-- just yummy!! :-) When can I go back?!

I know Christmas lunches are notoriously poor value but this was simply dreadful. The tables were crammed in so that conversation was difficult and service compromised. Starting with vegetable soup - that was carrot onion and celery in chicken stock - thin to say the least. Main - 2 thin slices of turkey, a single roast potato, 2 very small... More

I booked this restaurant to have dinner between a rehearsal and concert in Bolton. Not knowing the town, I read the Triop Advisor reviews and chose Ciao Napoli. I was with some fellow singers. Firstly my companions ordered small glasses of red wine. They were brought large ones. The waiter who had taken the order noticed this and offered to... More
