Stopped in here for a quick pint after karting nearby, clean and tidy pub run by very friendly staff, the smell from the kitchen was so good that 3 of us decided to indulge in what we thought would be a snack. I opted for the Chicken Chilli Nanwich. And I have to say it was absolutely divine. Its a... More

Went here for Sunday lunch with family while staying in Sussex last weekeend. Huge portions and I was pleased to find so many vegetarian choices, even on the children's menu. Really great value for money. Delicious food. Excellent service. Can't fault it really - we would return.

Celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and chef Pete layed on an amazing curry buffet for us. We couldn't fault any of it from the beautifully presented starters to the fragrant curries and rice. The crispy tandoori style chicken wings were a new taste sensation. Would strongly recommend especially now it has had a very tasteful refurb.

We popped in for a quick drink having seen the 'under new management' sign. Very pleasantly surprised. Tidy, clean & refurbished to a high standard. Much improved. Staff friendly, with a good selection of beers & wines. Definately worth a visit, we will be back.

Never been to this pub, fancied a bite to eat. Ordered a chicken and bacon baguette and a burger which was on quite a boring laminated piece of coloured paper. Asked to use baby change facilities only to be told that there was none as quote "they forgot to put it in." We don't know who 'they' are or were... More

I've eaten here a few time - food used to be surprisingly good but has gone sadly downhill. My last personal experience was a very undercooked burger and an seriously overcooked beef sandwich. But exceeding all expectations, we recently ordered three burgers. Two came out "ok" but the third came sandwiched between 2 sliced of white bread - along with... More

Classic british pub with classic british people inside. Food is good (I took a very good goat) and they have hood ales. A good opportunity for eating pub food close to Gatwich.

Brought the family over staying at a B&B nearby. Ordered a the typical(?) english pub dinner. Fish & chips, burgers and beer/cider (on tap) and drinks. Very polite staff, prices very low, quality much better than you get in many other pubs, in my experience. Nice, green outdoor area for kids/families. The smiling staff looked out for our well-being all... More
