Went for a meal here and was very disappointed....no flavour in the food and indeed staff we're not very helpful. Recommend going anywhere else for a curry !

Had a fantastic meal here recently on the occasion of my husband's birthday. Our party of 8 had great food and the usual attentive service. My mother in particular loved her fish and I had a very tasty jalfrezi. We've been coming here for years and the welcome is so genuine. How lucky we are to live near such a... More

Waited a while to say the least for my starter - Malai chicken. When it turned up I bit into one of the pieces, to a rubber squid like texture. Upon cutting into all the pieces, I discovered to my horror that the chicken pieces were still pink inside. I complained and was offered chicken tikka starter instead. By the... More

Four of us went for a sit-down meal at the restaurant on a Sunday night and went for the £9.95 Buffet thinking this would offer best value for money. This didn't really pan out as the buffet only consists of 4 items one of which are poppadoms - most Indian buffets I have been to are either 4 or 5... More

Wow! That is what I have to say about Bengal Spices Restaurant in Crawley. I have tried quite a few restaurants of this style and I have to say this was one of the best! The three of us dined on Monday 7th July at 19.00. The choice of starters was excellent, with the Salmon Tikka, The Prawn Puree and... More

Sunday night four courses £9.95. Amazing value. The portions were large, we took half home with us. The quality was amongst the best I've tasted. Service was ok but nothing special. I would recommend this restaurant and will certainly return for another night out.

Staying near the train station at Three Bridges, we sought out a local restaurant within walking distance. What a surprise to stumble on Bengal Spices restaurant with an extensive Bangladesh menu. The tandoori chicken in a yogurt sauce was uniquely spiced and a sizzling chicken dish that was delicious. Also the spinach and cheese dish was quite different than we... More

We go to Bengal regular as it is close to where we live. Always great food and fantastic service, never had a bad meal here and I would say one of the best Curry Houses in Crawley.

Worst curry if you can call it a curry I have ever eaten. If I were blindfolded I wouldn't have known what I was eating. I went with a party of 33 and most agreed. Also staff were supremely rude!!! 5 times I asked for a glass of ice before I was understood. No please thank you or smiles just... More
