My husband and I ordered the Châteaubriand medium rare and that came out to us medium well. We did not send our food back as we wanted to eat with the rest of our party... read more

Great food and decor. Staff are very friendly and have resolved minor issues excellently. This is somewhere I'd choose to go on a whim or book for a great night out

Read the reviews and looked forward to our lunch experience. We had driven past many times and it looked very attractive from the outside. Spent 2 hours on the phone during lunchtime the previous day trying to book a table - no answer and no voicemail. Eventually booked online. The booking confirmation email warned us that we must vacate the... More

We visited here as it was a convenient stopping point right on the road, and our route. We were in need of a quick meal. Although early afternoon we were lucky to get a table and the place is obviously very popular - as a place to eat, meet and relax. The food came very quickly and was very nice.... More

silva and I were here last weekend, I sent my main course back as it was so rare and one heartbeat away from living, our waiter kept reminding us of his name each time he came to the table which in the end became annoying, we waited 15 minutes for our wine to arrive and he then blamed the ticket... We stopped by after somebody had told us that it was a good place to have dinner. The decoration is nice and welcoming, you feel well when sitting inside. The food was very good, served in a very refined way and service was pleasant. It is worth the stop!

We have eaten here on several occasions and it has always been very good. However, today we had a long wait between courses and the meal for one of the party wasn't good. Probably wont go back again

Have had evening meals at the Dukes head on numerous occasions this was the first time we have ever stopped off for lunch, the food was excellent and the service was attentive and friendly as ever - just a little bit pricey. We knew we could get an excellent meal there so opted to pay the Dukes Head a visit... More
