Nice start to holiday

food is good but quite small portions. If you order side dishes this bumps the bill up quite a bit. Myself and husband had mains and one side dish each . We shared a dessert and £20 bottle of wine. Bill came to £98. Bit expensive but a nice start to hols.

Crap, crap, crap. Terrible food, improperly described and served by kitchen orderlies. How can they describe this as a restaurant?

We ordered Caesar salads, hoping for a light meal. There was more dressing, cheese and croutons than romaine. Nearly inedible. The real surprise was the 12 1/2 gratuity added to the check for our party of two...it was removed but I suspect it is often not noticed and our understanding from our server was that it was not passed on... I like the food here but my only minor criticism would be the lack of variety if you visit often. For people visiting occasionally that isn't a problem and the food, service and wines are of a good standard. It's a little more formal than the other restaurants at the hotel so good for business meetings

I had stayed at the Sofitel before, and had dinner there. This time, I stayed next door in the Premier Inn (to save some money), bit i didn't fancy the Premier Inn restaurant, so i popped next door and had a lovely Malay curry for about £14 i think. Worth the small journey!

Having spent two weeks in Italy eating wonderful food I cannot remember what we ate at La Brasserie but I do remember that it was perfectly nice and that the service was very friendly and efficient. On previous trips we had eaten in the Chinese restaurant in the hotel and this time we thought we would have a change and... More

Had most enjoyable meal. Very well looked after by Margo. Hake was cooked to perfection and service spot on. Good value for money in an airport hotel. What lets it down is the dull and boring decor, no attempt seems to have been made to brighten the place up which would enhance the experience.

We both had starters I had smoked venison and partner had rock pool we both enjoyed the experience small but very tasty. I then had a 6oz fillet steak and my partner beef ribs. Both were tasty and tender and I had 3 x cooked frites. Service was good and the Sauvignon blanc was very acceptable. We finished with petit... More

This restaurant is very underrated considering the amazing quality of the food. It is on the expensive side but it's worth it as a pre-holiday treat. Compliments to Natalia our waitress who was very friendly and helpful and recommended us a great white wine to go with our meal that we loved so much, we now drink it at home.... More
