Stayed at Sofitel Gatwick for one night before we flew out to Tenerife, enjoyed the one night so much including our visit to La Brasserie which was quite honestly the nicest meal we have ever had, set in very sophisticated surroundings, served by the most professional of staff and food served in perfect fashion and taste. Two courses and drinks... More

Outstanding dining in a relaxing setting. Truly first class. Attentive waiting staff who weren't intrusive, and a special thank you should go to Oana for being exceptionally helpful throughout the night. The meal was added to by a welcoming conversation with chef David, who had cooked our exceptional dinner. We look forward to our next meal here!

Enjoyed our dining experience during a one night stopover at the Sofitel. A good selection on the menu, quality and presentation was very good. We certainly enjoyed the meal and the service was friendly and efficient. With a bottle of wine the whole cost of dining was quite expensive, but we don't mind paying a higher price for a special... I usually use this restaurant which is one of three at the Sofitel, but this is their upmarket offering. You will need to book as it is very popular.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely meal here on Friday evening. We found the menu fantastic, with at least 3 options of interest to each of us on every course, which is rare! To begin with we had a lovely mushroom soup amuse Boyce For starters we had the scallops and the duck & veal terrine - both were... More

We ate an evening meal and breakfast here and it was truly wonderful on both occasions. Great choice at breakfast all off the food was off a very high standard. The staff were a credit to their trade

Delicious food at this hotel restaurant. Scallops and trout were small but lovely starters. Rump of lamb was beautifully cooked and belly pork was a delight. Exceptional service from Matt and Kurup. We couldn't manage a dessert but petit fours were perfect end to the meal. The wine we wanted on the wine list wasn't available but we had a... More

Most airport restaurants are expensive disappointments - I tend to avoid them at all costs. But this must be the exception that proves the rule. It isn't cheap but the quality is superb. Five of us dined there early in January and were all very impressed by the very high quality of the food. A really pleasant surprise. It encouraged... More
