As usual with airport restaurants we were not expecting too much. However the whole experience was very good indeed... the service excellent and apart from my starter it was all delicious and my husbands steak was one of the best ever. So yes can highly recommend La Brasserie.

Just had a very funny experience, we had three meals and spent £200 including wine. Two meals we very good but my wife's main coarse was appalling , she complained about the fish in batter was grey mullet in batter, it was appalling she left it and the chef said he understood and he would charge her half, I refused... We visited one evening, and we prebooked the table. We had booked through holiday extras which was two courses for 2 people £40, the options for this isnt alot so they allowed us to order from the normal menu and take £40 off the final bill. We ordered venison and the rock pool for starters, both were lovely but very... More

The food in this restaurant is excellent, the waiting staff are friendly and quite frankly brilliant. The cost is pricey and it does annoy me when a service charge is then added to the bill when I always prefer to show my appreciation of good service in cash. A service charge is also loaded on the price of drinks at... More

Terrible Service, although the selection was very good. There is limited space for such a Big Hotel. So be prepared to wait to be seated.

Really good quality food, relaxing atmosphere. Always eat here the night before when flying from Gatwick the following morning. Pricey, but good.

Sofitel Gatwick is a very good option before flying and La Brasserie serves very high quality French/international food. The starter and mains were both excellent. Our only complaint was the cheese - a very good selection ruined by being taken straight from the fridge. Surprising in an otherwise high quality restaurant.

Very friendly and attentive staff. We were seated quickly and presented with the menus and wine list. A good selection of food on offer with a set menu of 2 or 3 courses as well as the a la carte menu. The carrot and coconut soup was very good and we followed with the fish and chips which were excellent,... More
