I ordered the fish and chips. They were wonderful!!!! Nice tasting batter, not heavy at all. The chips were large and cooked to perfection! When I find myself in Gatwick airport again I will seek this restaurant.

A must if your staying at the hotel and enjoy good food. Very friendly staff and it was easy to get a table. Food was cooked exactly how we asked for it. They say you get what you pay for this is not a cheap restaurant but worth it.

This great airport hotel has very much a captive audience so it's a shame their flagship restaurant does not cater for more modest budgets. The quality of the dishes and the less than polished service do not justify the high prices.

We had paid for an all inclusive Dinner Bed & Breakfast package, but the meal allowance was very small and had to add to it considerably. The food was good but expensive.

You generally expect restaurants that are in these types of hotel not to make too much of an effort. After all, 99% of visitors, I assume, are here for one night only and return once a year if that. So if the restaurant is a bit off, well, it doesn’t matter, as the place is so convenient. Well that’s NOT... More

If you want small portions at a high price then this is the place for you! All very well presented in a nice clean well laid out and stylish setting, with polite and friendly staff. The taste of the food is good (certainly above average but not amazing), but the portions to price are why i only rate this 3... More

The Sofitel Hotel is great but the La Brasseria restaurant is a rip off. Extremely small portions. Had to laugh at the wife's starter. Hardly worth putting on a plate. No wonder the waiter asked: "Is that all" when placing.

We stopped here the night before we flew away on a five star gourmet all inclusive holiday, and this was the best, and most interesting, meal of the entire trip. Service was superb and the food was better, if you're staying at the Sofitel this is the place you want to be eating your dinner.

This time we chose La Brasserie, to celebrate my birthday. Never disappointed !!! Wonderful in presentation and taste dishes. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and as always charming Chef, whom came up to our table to have a little chat with us. If that was up to me I would definitely give them one more rosette. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)

Booked into the Sofitel for the night before our flight. There are a number of options for dining but we liked the look of the Brasserie menu and they didn't let us down. The black chicken, garlic and foie gras brûlée was outstanding! Wow...comes to mind! Would encourage anyone to try this. A great start to a holiday.
