The restaurant is located in a converted weighbridge building from the old Great Western Railway days. Used as both a restaurant and micro brewery. With the absence of soft furnishing sound resonates around the restaurant and the background noise can be a little loud, but was somewhat softened by a harpist playing throughout the evening from the mezzanine floor over.... My girlfriend and I booked a table here and arrived to be greeted warmly and quickly shown to our table which was upstairs. They had a piano playing which was lovely and the view from upstairs was great too. I had the steak and black pudding stack with shitake mushrooms and peppercorn sauce, it was to die for. Easily one... More

I visited the Weighbridge for a business lunch with 8 colleagues I found the place clean and tabled well presented, however the staff were 'polite' but not 'friendly ' The food was presented very well, and I enjoyed it, I'm just not convinced the price was warranted

This is the second time that we have eaten at the Weighbridge Brewhouse. We returned because our previous visit had been excellent. We arrived in good time and had a drink at the bar whilst we had a quick look at the menu as we weren't driving. The beer, which is brewed in house, was excellent. The Sunday lunch menu consists... Let down by poor service, average food and an expensive lunch with poor standards. On arrival we were seated by a waitress who promptly managed to spill lager over my dress and bag. Luckily it missed my phone! It was not a good start, there were apologies but after moving tables (at another waitress suggestion) the service continued to be... More

My wife had a steak and kidney pie that tasted as if it had a bag of salt poured into it. 3 of our party tried it and agreed it should go back as it was much too salty. By the time the manageress had finished, my wife came away feeling like it was all her fault. Although we did... More

Love the environment, decor and of course the food. I have eaten here a few times and never been disappointed. I have yet to come for dinner but I gather that there is great entertainment if you go at the right time. Worth a visit for sure

Omg I use to love this place and now there is no way I would go there again! Ever since the media has shared the disgusting news of force feeding their ducks and geese on their restaurant menu, that is one thing and as a animal lover I thought twice on coming here. The other reason is after the media... More

I have enjoyed both Lunch and Dinner on a number of occasions at this Restaurant, and would like to make the following observations. Advance booking is advised. Plenty of parking. Portions large, sauces rich, but that is to my liking. Long wait between ordering, but that happens when food is freshly cooked. Quality of service is mixed, from average to... More
