14 of us ate here on Sat 4th Oct, the setting and deco are both good as are the standards of hygiene, the food is a mix of mostly Indian styles with some very good and innovative twists, and both delicious very well presented, the downside was the service was slow, very slow, and at the we were waiting nearly... Ive seen other reviews criticising the surroundings. I'm sure if you look at any place hard enough you can find something that's not perfect. Given the surroundings are reasonable (and they are) it's the quality of the food and service that's important. We live pretty close by and have never had any problems with the food or the service. We've... More

We went for a family get together meal in the evening. The service was very friendly, the owner (I think ) made a real fuss of the kids and of the lady whose birthday it was. We felt very welcome indeed. The food was delicious but expensive (£11 for a chicken jalfrezi, £4 for rice, £3 for naan)and it took... More

We went here a few years ago and thought we would revisit with a friend last night who has been a few times. I was really disappointed generally. My first impression was how shabby the carpet was and it was held down by tape on the stairs - I was surprised as I expected a nicely decorated restaurant and something... More

In-laws live nearby so worth a visit but a bit pricey compared to curry houses in old town. Nice atmosphere, good food and service. If local would recommend!

I visited this restaurant with colleagues from work whilst in Swindon. Visited on a Wednesday night, very quiet. In a group of 9. I had been warned beforehand that it was on the pricey side, so I went, aiming to keep my spend to a minimum, as I am a student. I ordered Khatte Baingan as my main, for £8.... More

The food is exquisite. The staff are impeccable: friendly and welcoming, yet discreet. My husband and I have eaten in most Indian restaurants around the area and this exceeds all others by a country mile. The owner is welcoming, fun and an absolute gentleman. Worthy of number one Indian restaurant in Wiltshire. Well done!

Fabulous welcome, attentive and prompt service. Loved the tamarind chutney with the popadums - a bit different. Had the chicken and sage balti with a delicious naan. Not at all greasy and beautifully cooked. Recommended.

Lots of parking and a warm welcome as you arrive. Intimate interior, nicely styled with beautifully set tables and nice bathroom (well the Ladies' room is). The menu is very good -excellent choice and a few different dishes. Not just the run of the mill dishes, quite a few speciality dishes. Nice descriptions of the dishes. Staff are quick with... More
