Best meal I have had in a LONG while!

Booked a table for two here on a whim and the restaurant did not disappoint. The staff were warm and welcoming and the renovations on the premises were impressive (if you had been in the Old Bell before you will know what I mean). My partner and I both had three courses and each one of them was... read more

Zest has finely reopened at the old bell which I have been looking forward to as it was one of my favourite resturants in derby. It was brilliant evening everything was cooked to perfection with really delicious dishes on offer they have really stepped it up a gear and it was even better than remember.

This could be a lovely restaurant ...... It has only just relocated and reopened for 4 days so should be at the top of its game ..... However a few basic things let it down ... I ordered a goats cheese salad which did consist of a lovely cheese but the salad was disappointing, a few salad leaves a 6th... More

I booked this restaurant in February for my husbands birthday end of March. 2 friends were coming with us. They confirmed the booking by e mail. We then heard they were moving premises. We were in the city so we went to the restaurant to as if our booking was still ok. We found it boarded up and a note... More

went after work one day and it wasn't too bad of a place to eat, the food was good and as for the price that was good too, couldn't complain about anything, went in and came back out full,

Vistited on the evening of the 27th, we received a lovely warm welcome from a happy young man. There was a good choice but not so large that you can't decide. It all looked so yumy but very happy with our choices. the chips are to die for. Will definitely be back again. Thanks zest !

This was my third visit for champagne breakfast, it is unlikely I will go again- having ordered "crunchy nut cornflakes" I was served cornflakes, my full English was served with sun dried tomatoes, no marmalade included in the preserves for the toast, to top it all when we requested our champagne we were told they were out and would be... We visited this restaurant on the 10th Jan 2015 and judging by other reviews we may have had an untypical experience: The Good: . Good automated booking service. . Arrived half an hour early but welcomed onto a table and ordered olives and a glass of champagne before our meal. . The lamb dish was very well cooked. . All... More
