Lovely birthday meal

Oooooo what a lovely new premises !! The food was lovely but possibly the best thing about this place was the quality of the staff. We were really looked after and felt the staff actually cared about their job. Thank you for making it a super relaxed evening - can deffo recommend.

I have to say I was a little apprehensive about the evening, having seen the other comments on trip advisor, which had appeared after I had made the booking. I know people will more often tell the bad stuff, rather than the good, but I did start the... More

Like many who have enjoyed food at Zest in the old location we were really looking forward to visiting the new restaurant. We arrived at 9.30pm and had to walk right up to the bar area which is mid point in the restaurant. There is no meet and greet which for walk in enquries would be annoying for diners that... More

Very disappointing experience, and in total contrast to visits to Zest in its former home. We can only echo some of the other poor reviews.... Whilst it seems there are plenty of staff the attention to detail and finesse were lacking... Candle not lit, water served luke warm, not informed of soup or fish course and we were served a... Our party of 5 visited Zest on 22 May to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday. I had booked on-line and 'phoned a week beforehand to check the booking and mention that it was a really important occasion and we wanted it to be special. The gentleman I spoke to assured me that it would be and that we were welcome... More

Was looking forward to this restaurant, however, as we arrived we were shown right to the very back of the restaurant (when there was lots of free tables elsewhere). Having ordered our starters which we were looking forward to, when they arrived they were cold! Not only cold, but the asparagus sauce had solidified. When we told the waiter about... More
