Called here after another local pub couldn't accommodate what we needed. It was fairly quiet so the guy behind the bar who seemed to be trying to do everything just about managed to be all things to all people!! We had a good, hot tasty lamb shank. Will re visit.

Absolutely superb pub/restaurant which serves quality food @ a quality price and a good pint as well. Started with marinated olives and bread and oil and then had the seafood risotto and both were superb. Great service with the food all served piping hot, and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Thanks for a great meal and we... More

We have now visited the Holly Bush twice, most recently with a group of friends. We'd visited the wonderful Priory Church and it was a real bonus to find the Holly Bush conveniently sited at the foot of the hill with a good sized car park at the rear.. We received a genuinely warm welcome and the busy lady who... More

Visited this pub yesterday lunch time, we were there researching our family history. After visiting the church we called into this pub which was once owned by our great great great grandfather. The staff were very helpful, giving us lots of information and showing us some old photos. Very friendly. Then the 6 of us ordered food which we didn't... More

Quite a busy night in the pub with a big party in but we still got prompt service and didn't have to wait long for our food. Whilst it tasted ok it didn't look that appetizing. Both my starter and main course were piled high with cress far more than just a garnish. I had the risotto for my main... More

This place is a lovely well presented old village pub, we visited on bank holiday Monday. We sat outside on a lovely sunny day as we had our dogs. We ordered a bit of everything because we couldn't make up our minds what we wanted. The food was fantastic, we couldn't believe our eyes with the sizes and presentation so... More

Visited with friends as they had moved to new home locally, great reception & quality food. We have now re visited taking one of our relations who fell in love with it as much as we had. This lady took handfuls of business cards to pass to her circle of friends as she was so impressed with both the presentation... More

We ate here with my dad, 4 year old daughter and couple of friends. This was our first time to visit and we shall all be back. It's one of the friendliest, relaxed and best food pubs we have been to in a long time. We eat out regularly but the Hollybush is now a favourite. Great burgers, steaks and... More

A nice friendly village pub off the main road. Warm welcome and warm fire. Amlpe choice of food with healthy sized portions and very sensible prices. Three good draught beers. To be recommended - they have a popular 'Pie Night' every Monday

They stock a good range of beers lagers and cider. The place is warm and welcoming but the staff can tend to be a little scruffy. Pie night on Mondays is very good as are the Sunday Lunches. It is a good place if you don't fancy cooking dinner the meals are home cooked and fresh.
