Consistently great !

We have enjoyed many meals at this lovely restaurant . The standard has always been good and the staff are very pleasant. On 15th April we had the £10.95p lunch (two courses) . I wouldn't have imagined picking the Sardine pate normally, but I trust the chef ! It was absolutely excellent, with some... read more

Menu ok, nothing standard. Service also was ok. Negatives, no brown bread, white wine not served cold enough and our table of 8 was different tables pushed together so I had 2 chair legs to contend with all night.

I've been here several times, for work dinners as well as with family and friends. Both lunch and dinners are good but the evening menu was a bit more standout to me. The place is so cute and intimate. Great service as well!

My wife and I ate here on Good Friday, having eaten many times at Masa, Pierre's and the Blacksmiths Loft we were keen to see if the Wonky Table measured up, we were not disappointed! The set lunch menu was a delight with some nice twists on standard starters, the stilton mushroom were delicate and lovely whilst the patatas bravas... More

To start I walked past the restaurant this morning as the vendor was delivering fresh vegetables. Guess where I thought to have lunch? For Lunch it was a sort of pick two; an appetizer and a main course. The Soup of the Day was Cheddar Cheese (and potato). It was light and simply perfect. The main was a Corn Fed... More

Lovely decor with little odd pieces of bric a brac about the place. Restaurant was busy and we will return here another day without doubt

What a gem! The food we had was fantastic - a real treat for the taste buds. I am not only vegetarian but also wheat intolerant (can be a chef's nightmare!) On telling the waitress her response was to immediately explain what I could have and how they could adapt some of their dishes for my needs - without having... More

Our first visit but certainly won't be our last. The staff are excellent the food very good. The place itself isn't that great but the food and service is what this place is all about.

We have been to this restaurant once and tried to book again but couldnt get through. This is a nice restaurant and the food is good but if you ring to book you get through to an answering machine and the message on the machine promises to ring you back re your booking. This didnt happen. My message was ignored... More
