After having our wedding here last year, decided to come back for our anniversary, we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, hot and plentiful, The service was excellent and the staff very attentive. The surroundings are beautiful and would highly recommend.

This is the first time I have been to coopers for a couple of years , staff really friendly if not a little to much in your face. We really wanted chicken on the carvery but we're told that you had to have it in white wine sauce. As we don't like this we decided to have beef well until... More

Been here on a few occasions and always loved the food, the carvery is one of the best I've ever had, proper home cooking. Lovey building, lake and surroundings.

Been going here for years, and the setting, service and food is always excellent. Very well recommended for a hearty Sunday feed, should you be in the area.

Superb carvery followed by nice summery puds. A lovely setting made the best of this late summer's day. Good value, not the cheapest but one of the best.

Very nice setting, especially if it's a nice day and you can sit and drink next to the lake. Been here a few times and had steak on this visit...it was good! Will definitely go back and try another one! Service was quick and friendly and there plenty of ales to choose from,

After a gentle walk in the nearby area we couldn't help but stumble across this place with excited vigor. We were memories by the size and beauty of the building. We decided to sit outside and ventured in for some grub and drinks. We were a little off put by the lay out so followed the people in front. Upon... More

Hidden out of the way in its own grounds this restaurant lies in a beautiful setting overlooking a lake. Choice to sit down inside the restaurant or upstairs in conservatory area. The carvery is excellent, the a la carte is lovely as well, waitresses advise a 25 min wait for a la carte but come and tell the carvery diners... More
