Weston Hall is a distinctive 17th century mansion house, with its somewhat strange appearance being due to the fact that the house was abandoned when only half finished. The setting next to Cooper's Lake combined with the traditional English Inn architecture round off the delicious food and atmosphere of the pub perfectly.

Great location. Food fab, Service could be better. I know it was a busy day but 40 min wait for a sweet bit much. Also not once asked if we wanted more drinks. They missed another £20 off the bill by not doing that! As I say they were busy but waiting staff seemed more interested in cleaning tables than... More

The Coopers Arms is a high-end quality restaurant/pub in the village of Weston-on-Trent, just south of Derby, a mile or so from the A50. It is a substantial old building in a good location, with several eating areas to suit most occasions. We like the conservatories with their views over the adjacent lake/pond. The traditional English food and service are... More

Large carpark. Visited Monday lunchtime 9.3.15. at 12noon. First time visit to lower floor carvery area. Down some steps. Don't know if there's level access. Table had been booked and a good job too! Restaurant areas already busy and filled up rapidly. Very popular, so do book. Meal selection fine, carvery selection too. Portion sizes fair or self-help. Prices slightly... More

Went with my partners family. Very popular place for a carvery, must book on Sunday. Plenty of meat and a good selection off vegetables. Bar, carvery and waiting on staff very friendly. Food could do with being a lot hotter, but saying that some in our group liked it being the temperature it was. You can get the same quality... More

We both enjoyed another tasty roast lamb carvery last Wednesday night. Staff very helpful and friendly chefs. Can't wait for next visit.

Well been here twice and was pleasantly surprised it lived up to the first visit we enjoyed last year. rable of 7 and 5 had the carvery 2 the pie and it was fab. Only disappointment was the birthday wanted the gammon and apricots she enjoyed last time as for 83 she can still took her food away.

Service was good and the carvery was fine if you like lukewarm vegetables! Ordered a small glass of wine but was charged for a large glass. This was corrected on the bill after I queried it.

Great food and value for money in an incredible setting. Very busy but no wonder because it was lovely from start to finish. A must visit restaurant.
