We`ve not been for about 12 months but delighted to find the standard and choice of food are still excellent. I`m fascinated by this historic building and it`s idyllic setting by a pretty lake. The carvery restaurant offers a great choice, but check out the contents of the red casserole dishes before you decide. I was delighted to find they... More

Visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a couple of co-workers. I'd never heard of it. It sounded good and i wanted somewhere nice to take my husband to celebrate his birthday. We didn't have the carvery, but chose from the a la carte menu. The potted pulled pork and apricot pate was to die for! My hubby had what... More

This not a typical carvery you have to select what you want from the carvery before you go down. The place is very popular and you always need to book but personally I find it pretty average for the price. Food from the carvery isn't particularly hot and some of the vegetables appear to have been under the lights for... More

This pub/restaurant our monthly lunch club visited in May 2014, we found it good value for money and a varied menu including vegetarian selections.

Became a regular. Yesterday I had a carvery with an old, wealthy friend I've known since school. Dropped him off at the train station and went back in the evening. A barmaid asked if I had paid for my carvery I had. I said my friend did. Surprised. I'd been a regular for months and hundreds of carveries were served.... More

What can I say except another great meal / dinning experience at the Coopers Arms, beginning with a warm family welcome by Amy and her team, my wife and I booked an anniversary meal (utilising some complementary vouchers). We ordered from the a la carte menu, the portions are generous to say the least and delicious (and more than happy... More

We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Coopers Arms Weston on Trent, The staff are very attentive & friendly helpful, the venue itself is a lovely place with it’s upmarket feel. The roast pork was simply amazing, I’m keen to go back just for that! The rest of the roast was good, with the roast potatoes also receiving top marks.... More

This was our third visit and we were very disappointed. We'd booked for 7 pm on a Sunday. All four of us chose from the a la carte menu. It says to be prepared to wait for 25-30 minutes for items from this menu - which we were happy to do - but it was over three quarters of an... More

Went for a friends and family Sunday carvery lunch. Managed to get a seat in the main pub which has great traditional décor. The carvery had a good choice of meat and veg, freshly cooked, and something for everyone with hearty platefuls. It's not cheap bit it is a nice treat every now and then.
