Expensive for little return

Sorry but not my bag. My fears were confirmed by the disappointing portion with very little taste of an expensive main course which to be honest did not touch the sides. Very disappointing

We visited here for the second time in a few months and the place had changed considerably. The staff actually cared this time. We were seated quickly and ordered within a reasonable time. The food came quickly and was all very tasty. Sam, our waitress, came over and checked everything was ok and was genuinely interested to hear our comments... More

The restaurant was not busy. Very slow service, food took ages to arrive. Ordered Apple and cherry crumble. It was not a crumble. Jam, custard and a sprinkle of crumble topping. It was cold. I have been To lots of other Harvesters and have enjoyed the experience. Will not go back to this one.

Visited here at lunch time today and waited for about ten minutes to be acknowledged and seated. There were two busy waitresses who obviously couldn't stop what they were doing to seat us but there was a woman (Steph?) behind the counter by the till who just completely ignored us and two other sets of diners behind us. Several times... More

The restaurant appeared to be very busy when we arrived but we didn't have to wait long to be seated which was good. The staff were polite but seemed to be overstretched with the volume of diners. We were handed menus but like most large chain eateries locally were sticky and greasy. Why they can't be wiped down quickly never... More

To be fair I went here some months ago and didn't enjoy it much, it wasnt so much the food as it was the constant screaming from the young children sat on a table nearby - totally out of control and the staff seemed to do absolutely nothing about the noise or disruption it was causing to everyone nearby!!!! After... More

Visited today as pre mothers day treat.with my two daughters and two young grandsons. Were shown to a table straight away. Then waited for quite a while until order was taken. Salad bar fine and main meals came within an acceptable time. Unfortunately then service went downhill. Plates were eventually cleared after 20 mins. Desert order taken after another long... More

Went to this harvester for the unlimited breakfast today and I wish i hadn't! First arrived and we were ignored, got a waitresses attention and she seated us on a dirty table without saying a word. We then had to find a different waitress to take our order after getting bored of waiting. Ordered the unlimited drinks what a JOKE!... More

The statuettes and vases are certainly not the only thing which lead me to a restaurant to eat, usually it is my ability to choose, which is also true of this establishment. In saying that, there were glass fishbowls filled with small bits of wood, and what seemed to be Christmas decorations; this was certainly not what I was expecting.... More
