Tuesday, the 19th of January, we were in Gloucester attending early morning appointments, following which we went to the Priory Harvester for breakfast. We had visited the Priory Harvester on previous occasions, but for lunch. We arrived there at about 10.20am., and were met at the door by 'Amelia' with a pleasant smile. We asked if breakfast was available and... More

We came to this harvester because we had some vouchers to spend (after having a terrible time at another local harvester) and I had y fingers firmly crossed for a good meal - and we weren't disappointed! We were seated quickly in a nice place, high chairs brought, drinks orders taken and given menus to look at. The drinks and... More

went here a year ago and it was appalling , but credit where credit is due, today I went for lunch with my friend . Key points service was quick . Food hot, restaurant clean and presentable , staff welcoming and overall a amazing difference . Well done to the manager & staff who've turned this around .

The price of the food compared with the quality of the food does not add up. Its bad the service was bad and the food was bad. I am a waitress myself and I didn't feel welcome and the chicken was so fatty but I was so hungry I tried to eat it. No thank you so dont think there... More

Popped in after a bank holiday trip to B&Q (yawn). This is probably the cleanest, most pleasant harvester we have been in. Our waiter (didn't have a name badge - dark hair, burgundy jumper) was very pleasant and thoughtful. Simple things like I asked for my Stella in a straight glass as I don't like the Stella glass, he told... More

Visited the other day with my mum and sister for a pre Christmas treat. Food and service seem to be a lot better than it has been in the past year or so. However the resteraunt seems much quieter than it has been in the past. Our orders were taken in good time, and service throughout our visit was good.... More

Visited The Priory yesterday evening and what a difference!!! We had previously had an awful experience, but were encouraged to return since the restaurant is now under new management. The welcome was spot on and straight away the atmosphere was set for a good experience. The restaurant was clean, professional and the staff were friendly efficient and keen to please.... More

What a lovely bunch of people. My family and I had a great meal. The food was top notch and the service was even better. The staff were really nice and done their best to make sure we had all we wanted. We were able to have a laugh and joke with them and Chris the manager was brilliant. Well... More

We only went to The Priory because our usual Harvester, Salmon's Leap, had told us there was a 20 minute wait. The staff there gave the impression that they were having a bad day, so we drove the 10 mins to the other side of Glos to this one. Our welcome was amazing - despite a warning about a wait... More
