Disappointed

Used this Harvester many times but on this occasion it couldn't be further away from our previous experiences!! We had a wait of 30 minutes which was not an issue for us but we observed many empty tables with dirty dishes on. The matrade explained that he could not let his waitresses to have more... read more

I have been to harvesters in Cardiff before and been thoroughly impressed with the service but never have I been in such an awful restaurant as this one. My partner and I went here this evening for a meal and right from the get go it was an awful experience. We were shown to our table and then left for... More

Decided on a spontaneous visit to this branch with my own family and my parents. I wish we hadn't. Upon arrival at the table, my father had to ask for a replacement fork as the one provided was filthy. Our drinks order was taken - my father's drink wasn't available so he had to select something else. When the drinks... More

Lack of staff, the 2 they had were a waste of oxygen. Whole Floor area filthy and covered in food. None of the drinks we wanted were available from the menu after several attempts. When the food was brought out it was incorrect and cold and excuses for not having enough of the ingredients. Watched as two other couples complained... More

On the basis of this visit, I will never again eat at this Harvester restaurant, and will think at least twice before eating at any other Harvester. Firstly, I object to bottled beers being served at the table already poured. I object even more when I'm served with the wrong drink - I ordered Crabbie's Alcoholic Ginger Beer and was... More

Visited 28th June 15. Food was fabulous. Pleasantly surprised. Had been around 3 months previously and food terrible. Salad bar now has potato salad. Pasta salad and couscous. The chicken was moist and generous. I asked what had changed. A new chef. New attitude from staff. So 5 stars and we'll done..

I had been told wonderful things about harvester breakfast (which I didn't know they did until recently!!) so was excited to go! But it was terrible... Firstly the restaurant was clearly understaffed, whilst that is of course not the staffs fault (2 girls serving the entire restaurant) they didn't apologise once, smile, acknowledge the fact it wasn't up to scratch... This is the worst harvester experience I have ever had. We walked in and first impressions were that the dining area was very small, anyway it started well we ordered drinks and waited until shown to to the table, the man behind the bar was scruffy and had no charisma, we were shown our table and got seated there was... Although this place is our nearest eatery, we have given it a miss for a number of reasons. Believing that everyone deserves a second, or in this case third, chance, we decided to try again. This time we opted for a breakfast, as we were heading off on holiday and decided to treat ourselves prior to departure. We checked the... More
