Ate here as part of a large group, service was good, waiter came over fairly quickly and took our drink order, and left us with bread and butter to nibble on, when she saw that we finished that off very quickly it was replenished. Food was really good, I had belly pork which was crispy on the outside and tender... More

Having been in the previous evening and booked a specific table close to where the artist would be performing we arrived in time for our booking to find the table had been given to other dinners. Decided to stay as we were looking forward to see the artists we were shown another table close by that would be free in... More

The ambiance at this Jazz Hotel/Bar/Restaurant is always cosy, comfortable, welcoming and a little quirky – in a very pleasant way. I have stayed here in the past, and eaten here several times. There is Jazz theme décor throughout – musician photos, music sheets, instruments. There was live Jazz music when I arrived for dinner, which was ok but not... More

We recently visited the Harrogate Brasserie during a stay in the town, and was disappointed by the level of service. Yes we only stopped for drinks, but when I ask what red wine is available by the glass, I expect more than "look at the list on the wall".

We went here as a party of 4 on a cold Monday evening and had the early bird menu whilst listening to soft jazz. For the price the food was excellent. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The setting is also pretty cool, very dark wood but warm. No complaints whosoever.

If you enjoy nice (but expensive) food served with a level of rudeness I've seldom encountered, then this is the place for you. The chef should find a job in a different restaurant in which his food is served in manner that does justice to his skill. Avoid.
