Expensive

Food OK - not brilliant, but expensive. Staff OK, not fantastic. Felt a little rushed. We ate downstairs and it was draughty.

Three of us all went for the fish pie and we really enjoyed it. It was full of a variety of large chunks of fish and prawns. A light, crispy topping was great, not too much potato. Great service and excellent, reasonable wine.

I have been eating here for 30+ years the new owners offer the same very high standard food at reasonable prices personally I prefer to eat upstairs for a more intimate experience... It's a must experience

Lovely fish and seafood restaurant tucked away in Harrogate. Came here for family lunch on a Saturday. Whilst the food range is quite small with about 10 options for each course the choices are excellent ranging from simple fish pie to delicious sea bream. Extensive wine list. Fantastic service and we weren't hurried to leave when the food and drink... More

Mine was nice bot soft shell crab tiny and not good value. I ordered the special fish with an odd name I have never heard... More

First visited this place about 20 years ago and was underwhelmed, by chance we revisited recently, this time was better, service was great the waitresses friendly and efficient and the food was ok, can't go better than that, had the lunch special £18 for two courses is good value however the menu is old fashioned possibly due to the ageing... This seafood restaurant has been going strong in Harrogate for about thirty years, with varying degrees of popularity. Back in my parents' day, they had a standing reservation every year for Valentine's Day and their anniversary because it was impossible to get a table without booking months in advance. The fortunes of the restaurant shifted when it was sold by... More

Excellent location and very good ambience to start with. Fish is fresh and lovingly prepared. Would highly recommend for a special evening or celebration. Special mention for the staff, polite and welcoming. Top quality.
