We've been to Timberlakes several times. Each time it's been great and does not disappoint. Consistently exceeds expectations. We've taken the kids (aka picky eaters) and they always come away happy. Been with friends too and aided by a fabulous bottle of red had a great evening. Tip: Try Christian's (the owner chef) chicken curry. Beautiful! A real winner. Will... More

Just enjoyed a terrific Sunday lunch at this charming restaurant hidden away in the Montpellier Quarter. A great recommendation. The Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding were tremendous with a quirky touch of gravy served in teapots! The rest of the menu sounds very tempting and I'm looking forward to going back.

Fantastic food, great ambience and quaffable wine. This hidden gem provides the best value for money dinning experience in town. We chose from the specials board and were certainly not disappointed. The scallops ceviche were of the highest quality and the the T-bone steak was cooked to perfection. The only downside was not being able to fit anymore in!! Thanks... More

This has to be the best place for Sunday lunch in Harrogate. The beef was excellent and no expense was spared on portion size, the Yorkshire puds were the size of cricket balls and there was plenty gravy provided in a quirky tea pot, enough for all. With Olives and drinks provided on arrival, I strongly recommend this to anyone... More

This place is a hidden gem! Tucked away in a little courtyard, the setting is perfect. The restaurant itself is just the right size, keeping it intimate but also with enough space so you don't feel crammed in. The menu offers some fantastic choices, and it's obvious that the chef takes great care and pride in his food. Staff were... More

The quality of the food and the variety on the menu is excellent. Prices are very reasonable too. Excellent wine and beer menu also. But don't tell anyone - it's far too good for everyone to know about it!

My husband and I usually drop in on the off chance we can get a table. They always fit us in and we enjoy the food every time. The menu is nicely varied and the quality of ingredients really shows.

Stayed in Harrogate for the weekend and undecided which of the many restaurants to choose from… We decided to return to Timberlake's. Having visited a couple of years ago we are pleased to say the food and atmosphere is as good as ever. Excellent menu selection and you cannot fault the wine selection!! Will be sure to visit when in... More

Good choice of dishes on menu, all sounded great. The goats cheese, beetroot and pickled walnut salad was ok, but could have been elevated to something heavenly with better walnuts and dressing and quarters of roasted beetroot instead of bland slices. However, my husbands T-bone steak was perfection, cooked exactly as he asked and served with huge chunky chips. Excellent... More
