OK, ignore the lame attempt at inter-European (lingerie-tinged) familiarity in the title. It is a Welsh man's poor linguistic offering to say this was a superb evening meal. Superb. An intimate but not uncomfortably small setting. A service which was attentive but not obtrusive. A price which was ... well, put it this way, I was trying to work out... More

My wife and I decided to visit this restaurant as we were investigating the possibility of a minor celebration here in September. We chose a Sunday evening before 7pm.and as they had an Early Birds menu we decided to choose that. We were offered a drink before the meal only as an afterthought. We ordered a starter and main and... More

Been wanting to visit for a few months. Rang 2 hours before wanting to dine and after checking with chef we were offered a table just 15 mins after we wanted- they do an early bird offer and they needed to clear those diners. We arrived to a near full restaurant and extremely busy waiters but we were shown to... More

We had an early meal here, before going to the theatre. It was not busy when we were there, but it is small, so you would probably be wise to book. The service and the food were both very good.

We hadn't booked but were well looked after. We had visited a couple of years ago and were keen to return. This time we received complimentary canapés whilst the most amazing meal was freshly prepared, the papardell with walnut was great as was the chicken in ragu and papardell with chicken and spicy salami, we managed to fit in dessert... Wonderful authentic Italian food, 2 x 3 courses and 2 x bottles of wine for £51.00 (included a free bottle of wine for spending over £30) would definately recommend this restaurant. Attentive service. But you may have to book in person as they don't answer the phone!

Really good service and friendly staff. Food was very nice and well presented. This is a small restaurant in a good central location which serves good quality genuine Italian food.

A small but popular restaurant. A diverse menu that doesn't compromise on quality! Friendly staff make for an excellent dining experience. We had 2 dishes from the fish menu. Tuna and swordfish. Both were delicious and perfect for a warm night. Try the Grappa in a warmed glass to finish. We will be happy to return (from Manchester!)
