Inexpensive and very tasty English food, As I'm a Harrogate resident for over 30 years so used to Harrogate's fine dining out this place was a delightful find , the setting was warm and welcoming rustic with the old charm, I entered the restaurant alone and was quickly put at ease I chose a candle lit table in the corner.... My partner and I visit here all the time; the food is good and very cheap, the staff are wonderfully friendly and the owners Mel and Phil would do anything to make your visit enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit for a good meal on a budget :)

we dropped in on spec early evening on a Thursday & were shown to a lovely corner table. The staff were welcoming & friendly. The choice of food was lovely. I had a smoked haddock fishcake followed by chicken & leek pie. My husband had melon followed by steak in red wine gravy. Everything was tasty & service was prompt.... More

We ate here on arrival in Harrogate. The waitress was very pleasant and welcoming. The food was really good-we had a 2 course special which included a glass of wine. Would recommend for a light lunch.

Called in at Le Jardin for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at how cosy and welcoming the little bistro was. The food was very tasty and portion sizes were more than adequate. A good range of lunchtime meals and the evening menu looked just as enticing.. The staff were pleasant and efficient and we didn't have to wait too long... More

We visited the restaurant on a Friday evening and had the 3 course menu at £12.75. We both had the fishcake for starters, which was very nice, I had the braised steak in red wine, my partner had the pork in cider. For dessert we had the treacle sponge with ice cream and bread and butter pudding with ice cream... More

My husband and myself visited this lovely little bistro cafe, where we were welcomed by a very friendly waitress and shown downstairs to our table. The menu was lovely offering home cooked dishes. We opted for the three course £12.95 deal. My haddock fish cake starter was fab as was the rest of our meal. We shared a bottle of... More

We have visited previously and been happy with food and service and again we were not disappointed. We chose to eat downstairs and were soon joined by severL other couples. This is not a flamboyant or pretentious restaurant and the decor is a little rustic but it provides a pleasant enough ambience to enjoy a relaxed meal. We chose the... More
