The meal was so nice we went two nights on the trot. Very good value for money the staff are friendly and helpful and the wine was very good. Would definitely go again and recommend it for evening or lunch time.

What a wonderful place. Great value and lovely food, I recommend the beef followed by the Apricot frangipane with ice cream which is to die for. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be going back the next time I am in the area.

Two courses for £ 9.95 is good value these days i admit but my melon starter was small and unexciting and my main of fish pie was a very shallow dish of one prawn, a small chunk of salmon a lot of sauce and some thin slices of potato with side salad and peas. I would rather have paid a... More

Staff were friendly enough. food boring bland and tasteless. Nice water jug. I wish I could say more in a positive light. But, i can't. That's it.

Was looking for a quiet, light meal after a busy day. Looked nice from outside and menu tempted us in. Once seated and taking in the surroundings we could see it needed a good clean and face lift. My food was fair but my husband's looked unappetising and he felt it was sub-standard. My desert was atrocious, but my husband's... More

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday night and had a lovely meal with friends. The food was excellent and very good value for money. Service was spot, very warm and friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. We will use it again if and when we visit the area again.

It is quite a cute little restaurant. Looking for lunch we decided to have the two course lunch special at £10.50 which included a small glass of wine or a small bottle of lager. It was straightforward basic stuff but exactly what I wanted. I had homemade mushroom soup for a starter which was genuinely home produced, served with tasty... More

After a busy day shopping we decided to drop in to Le Jardin for a early evening dining experience. We had a very friendly welcome from the front of house team. We were given a very nice window table over looking the Stray. The starter presentation was very poor and it was served on very small plates. The fish cake was... More
