A great experience

Great value and an interesting experience. Complete with old-timer music on the piano. Very reasonably priced cream tea. i'd say one is enough for two people (if you have an extra pot of tea!:-)

First time visit - lovely staff and food is excellent. Twinned with the period music and all of the 1940s Nic nacs and furniture it's a real treat. If you are going to visit allow plenty of time and enjoy the experience - not a place to rush. Absolutely top notch xx

I had been given a voucher for myself and my friend and was looking forward to the visit as I had heard such glowing reports. On arrival the reception was not very welcoming I felt guilty giving a voucher in. The teacup was not clean so I asked for a replacement which was not much better. The sandwiches and cakes... More

I wanted to do something different for my wife's 50th Birthday and I know she likes 1940's so I went to Sophie T's Vintage Teashop and Mrs T was so so helpful we had the works and the sandwiches where real sandwiches not little pieces of bread with little filling, these where door stoppers, I like my mum are Diabetics... I was taken here as a treat and what a lovely place! 1940's décor and music playing. Had a generous helping of homemade fruit cake and coffee which was delicious. Will certainly be visiting again!

Enjoyed some lovely cake here. Usually I can't eat cake made by anybody else, due to a dietary restriction, but the ladies here were very obliging and found something I could have - which just happened to be my favourite carrot cake! Wonderful.

Nice selection of cakes and sandwiches for afternoon tea - but nothing special - and did not feel welcomed - and comparatively with other options in Peterborough extortionately expensive at£13.50 per person - need to be much more accommodating to guests and look at prices. Vintage feel nice but not worth paying the extra for - homemade cakes nice and... More

The cost of afternoon tea is £12 per head for parties of less than 8 or £13.50 for parties of more than 8 which includes a service charge. Your organiser would have been made aware of this in writing at the time of booking. For large parties afternoon tea comprises of a selection of sandwiches, to include smoked salmon and... More

Came in this afternoon with a friend, we were both very pleased with the service that was provided. As this was just a light snack & a catch up we opted for a pot of tea & fruit scones, which were delicious. Will be returning again in the near future.

Lovely little place, we had the afternoon tea selection and it was a very generous portion! Nice food and nice atmosphere. Any left over food you can take home. I would say it is more suitable for grown ups and not children. I have a young child myself but it was nice to have a more grown up atmosphere and... More
