£19.50 for three pieces of vegetarian ravioli!!! My word your good but your not that good! Would also have been nice if we were alerted to the fact that mains need sides as well. Felt the pricing was out of balance and the service was just average, a real shame.

A special birthday treat from my husband saw us travel 130 miles to dine at the Pony & Trap to sample Michelin star dining. It is such a shame we live so far away as the food was excellent, the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the atmosphere perfect. I'm not usually keen on mackerel but the cider picked... More

Sunday lunch for 4 . Very good food and great service. Starters. 2 mussels and 2 crab and courgette soup . Both dishes tasted excellent . Then we all had roast beef , with all the trimmings . Superb selection of vegetables . Then some delicious puds including a fine selection of ice creams. Good reasonable priced wine list. All... More

This was the first time we have visited The Pony & Trap; the food was excellent, staff first class, and the service was as good as anywhere we have been. We were so impressed, we booked for a return visit whilst we were there.

We went here for a midweek (birthday) lunch, and so glad that we booked as I doubt we would have got a table otherwise. The food, ambience and service were fantastic, which all added up to a 5* experience. This is a well deserved Michelin star, that recognises that it's not just about the food (which should be a given),... More

Went with friends not sure whether I would find it a disappointment as it has been so bigged up but it was brilliant from the egg with asparagus to the burnt crème it was top notch. Service was very good. Could not be faulted

As stated in a number of reviews the setting is ideal and the main restaurant enjoys wonderful views over the Malvern hills. The food was definitely a notch above "Gastro" pub standards. The combination of produce was very unusual but worked well. I enjoyed pork loin with squid and chorizo. The jus with this course, and with the curried monkfish... More

We were in the area and found this pub. We went for the pricer lunch options but it was well worth it and we all enjpyed our dishes especially the pork loin. We sat outside and the day and view couldn't have been better We will come back if in the area

Heard a lot about this place, was in the area and drove past so decided to pop in for a quick lunch. Traditional pub with high end menu but thankfully plenty of snacks/traditional bar food. We opted for a couple of pricier main courses which were good but not amazing, 2 X very nice staff and 1 x surly, miserable... More
