Breakfast at The Bridge Tavern

In recent months I visited The Bridge Tavern for a good old Irish Breakfast. I was not disappointed. Perfectly cooked and delicious. A real treat.

Depends on the day, some days the service is great , the order is correct and on time. Other days the food quality is Lacking (but the staff are friendly and polite).

Had the absolute best bruschetta I have ever had. Just stopped in for a pint and a small bite to eat. Sat at the bar and had good service and conversation. Beforehand hand a nice walk around the water / park area.

I recently had the displeasure of booking into this accommodation Thursday 28th and to my detriment prepaid for my room. I was shown to the first floor and met by a bunch of used dirty towels in the corridor to my room, staff open my supposedly room and found it not prepared, he apologies and went to get another key,... Good Afternoon Kieran P I would like to sincerely apologise for your experience here last Thursday. Unfortunately there was an issue with housekeeping which the bar staff was not aware of, this has since been dealt with in house. This does not in any way excuse the state of the rooms and I can only hold my hands up and... More

Delighted to positively review this busy pub restaurant after my previous adverse comments re service. The bearded manager was very much on "on top of things" and the quality of service had improved significantly. The food was at its usual very high quality esp. Garlic prawns and Rib eye steak. Staff were highly efficient, courteous and good humoured and obviously... More

Stopped in town today, for a bit of exploring and dropped in for a bite to eat, we we're after fish, the menu didn't offer much choice and we we're informed there was no haddock for the fish and chips. We ordered seafood chowder this was tasty and plenty of seafood. I had the soup of the day sweet potato... More
