What a delight!

Been many time during the day but tried this place the other night as it is now a bistro in the evenings. Fantastic! Loved the food and the BYO really helped the budget. I will most definitely be back.

I used to own Halpin's in a past life when it was purely a daytime cafe so had a vested interest in trying their new nighttime opening menu. At night it's called Halpin' Bistro and I am Just back, and had an amazing meal, we both went for same starter, fried Wicklow blue cheese, absolutely gorgeous but the best was yet... More

Enjoyed a bowl of soup in Halpins last week. The brown bread was so delicious I asked for more! Coffee was good and generous too. Always look forward to visiting when in Wicklow town.

Very welcoming and cosy with great food! We had some of the nicest scones I have ever tasted. The staff are very friendly and service is great too! Busy on a Sunday morning is always a good sign. The price is just right which helps! On my list for a return visit.

This is not a fancy venue but it is clearly very popular with the locals - it was very busy when we visited on a Sunday morning. We just had coffee and some very good home made cakes but we could have had a full cooked breakfast or a reasonably substantial lunch - there is something for everybody here. Service... More

Have been in twice this week and each time the meal was lovely. If you are looking for a light snack, lovely hot meal or lovely desert, Halpins have it. Seem to be new staff since my last visit but still very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend when in Wicklow.

Had the jerk chicken ciabatta. Nice, warm and mildly spiced. Waitresses are so helpful. Not a lot of space, so best to have a coffee outside until you can get a table.
