A don't-miss

The scones with clotted cream are a don't-miss, especially at less than four Euro with a cup of excellent coffee.

Are you sure you were in Halpin's? i never answer reviews in a negative way, but this review does not seem right for some reason. you claim we have little choice? we have over 65 items on our printed menu,(the largest choice in Wicklow) plus 8-10 hot specials every day, and around 12-14 varieties of cakes and pastries. We have... More

To my husband and I, Ireland will always bring back memories of great scones and cappuccinos - and at this cafe, we got some of the best! The young ladies that served us were informative, sweet and very friendly. I visited the cafe about 4 years ago and Im pleased to say the same lovely atmosphere is still there!

My wife and I now live two towns away but we often make the trip into Wicklow town to have a bite to eat in Halpin's Bridge Café. The food is excellent, the proprietor Robert is a charming and affable host who obviously spent long enough in the UK as a young man to have an equally charming Anglo-Hibernian accent... More

Went here yesterday. Welcomed as we arrived. Got chicken jerk sandwich. Incredible. As was homemade biscuit cake. I'll be back whenever I'm in Wicklow.

Lovely little coffee shop. Waitresses are charming, they very kindly bring my dog waterwhen we are sitting outside. Amazing range of indulgent cakes, lovely fresh salads too. Gets a special mention for opening on Sundays, even in winter.

We were just two ordinary wandering English tourists - looking for good local lunchtime fayre somewhere in Wicklow. What did we find? Halpins Bridge Cafe? Warm welcome, nice staff, interesting menu, fresh food on display ... and IRISH STEW on creamy mash. What more could we want? Good value and worth dropping in.
