Halpins is a model of an attentively run cafe, gets busy at lunch time with local business staff, nice to sit outside on the sunny days. Straight forward menu with simple consistent quality fare. Last stop from Main st. before (0r after the harbour if you want a take away T or coffee.

Been in Wicklow many times before, but it's the first time me and girlfriend went to Halpin's to eat. Lovely staff, delicious food. And the place is like a museum with all the old artefacts. They should just block off the stairs to stop kids running up and down it. The parents did nothing and everybody else was pissed off.... More

Have been in Halpins so many times and can't think of anything other than positive things to say. Love the place, staff brilliant and even when it is really busy you get a smile and talked too... If I owned a restaurant I would copy everything and everyone in Halpins

We stopped here for sandwiches for lunch and everyone really enjoyed the food. It wax really busy and they were turning tables quickly. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Best of all the coffee was really good. We had quiche, club sandwich and BLT and a couple of simple ham sandwiches for the little ones. Agree with other reviews... More

Visit here over the bank holiday weekend and was really delighted I did. We had a fantastic lunch here and even though the place was thronged with tourists and local we were seated and served really quickly. The menu was very extensive for a cafe and the specials on the board really bring this place into restaurant status. The level... More

We were in Wicklow looking for a late breakfast. We got a good coffee and filling 'breakfast in a panini' here. Food was appetizing with decent portions, price was lower compared to the 4-5 main street eateries in Wicklow, and the staff were efficient (particularly the English bloke who was helpful and friendly). The menu had a lot of variety... More
