Vegetarian Delight

Found this little cafe after walking along the coastal path from Bray to Greystones. As a vegetarian I was in my element as there is so much choice of exceedingly tasty and healthy options. Lovely salads and soups, wholesome but also tasty. The staff are friendly and the seating space is very pleasant. The only very minor complaint would be that the salads can be very cold which makes it hard to taste the great flavours but all-in-all a great spot for a hearty lunch after a wind-swept walk along the coast.

I absolutely loved the Happy Pear. Most definitely some of the nicest vegetarian food I've had in a very long time and very reasonable considering the quality. I must mention the sugar free Wellington square I bought after my meal which I couldn't get over, absolutely to die for. Keep up the great work :)

Heading back to the city we took the opportunity to visit The Happy Pear. I'm a big fan of their cook book and was really looking forward to a treat. It was very busy, even though it was 4pm. But it was Good Friday! The tables outside were full and there was a queue for food/coffee. We were tempted to... More

We were in the outskirts of Dublin and were wondering whether we can find any vegetarian food. Kept walking past the usual places but many were closed. To our delight found this total vegetarian place. Our expectations went up seeing the place. We were not disappointed at all. Many vegetarian items. Typical Berkeley kind of ambience. Friendly staff but they... More

I've noticed that this place always seems to be jam packed and is a real hub of the greystones community. Ventured in for lunch the Saturday before Christmas which was a sunny warm afternoon. We had the morrocan casserole with side salads and 2 delicious coffees. Both of us are meat eaters but I wouldn't have known this was a... More

My Wife and I both love healthy and tasty food however we both have food restictions. It can be a struggle to find restaurant where the staff are understanding and there is no compromise on taste when changing dishes to suit our requirements. We felt at home in the Happy Pear and the staff made it feel normal to ask... More

So I like many others love the ol health buzz! Eating right etc... but it can be very difficult to get good food at a reasonable price! However the happy pear will tick every box! The layout is that of a fancy cafe and if the weather is good sitting outside is lovely and greystones is nice little Gem of... More

A tasty wholesome dining experience. Several vegetarian options. Range of soups, salads, pita sandwiches and hot meals. Seating is upstairs or outside on a wonderful sunny day. It is a great place to go after the end of your Bray to Greystones walk!

I finally made it to famous The Happy Pear on a lovely Spring afternoon! The sunny weather really set the mood for the day, it was a busy lunch hour but the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The menu was varied, with options for soup, a hot main or a falafel pocket with salad. I do wish there has... More
