Next time you're in Wexford Town on a weekend break or just passing through I would definitely recommend Nonna Rosa for a very enjoyable meal in this small authentic Italian eatery on South Main Street - especially the early bird if you're in town 5pm to 7pm on Tues-Sunday. I recently dined there with a pal on a Sunday evening... More

Had an evening meal here during a short stay in Wexford. The food was really really tasty. The staff were pleasant and we got to write on their wall. Definitely worth a visit.

Since being under new management the food has improved dramatically. Altho it was good before, it had got a bit samey and boring. It is a very, very small restaurant and altho I like it a lot in off peak times, I wouldn't dream of going there at busy times, or with a large party. They simply cant cope with... More

Was dying for a good pizza so tried Nonna Rosa and had high expectations for a good quality real Italian pizza. We ordered 3 and all 3 pizzas were absolutely disgusting disgusting. They were so soggy there was liquid in the bottom of the boxes. As you can imagine starving for pizza and having paid money for these we were... More

Dropped into Nonna Rosa on a busy Saturday evening and was happy to get a seat without a reservation. Ordered the bruschetta for starters and lasagne for main course. Neither were memorable, but it was pleasant all the same. I was annoyed by the staff, who took my plate away before my friend had finished her meal. All and all,... More

A good Italian restaurant in my opinion should be homely and reflect the personality of the owner. Nonna Rosa performs this trick very well, being a small room tucked at the far end of the town's Main Street. The menu is a good balance between pizza, pasta, fish and meat - we enjoyed the pork medallions, lamb cutlets, steak, penne... More

This was a really lovely Italian restaurant. It's quite small, but the staff and ambiance make it seem really big! I had the Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli, which was soooo tasty and a Strawberry Tiramisu for dessert. The prices are a little higher than average, but you really do get what you pay for. Definitely give it a try.

Party of 4 first timers to Nonna Rosa and boy were we delighted we got their last table, It's a small tight restaurant, but not so much that you are sitting on top of each other. The food is outstanding, and my best meal for such a long time. Starters of Caprese and Aubergine/Mozzarella were delicious, but the outstanding was... More

Both the owner and the chef are clearly absolutely passionate about producing amazing authentic Italian food does it shows the minute you walk in the door We were a little undecided about what we might have the owner said leave it to me and he produced the most amazing melody of pure Italian brilliance
