Spice is an authentic Indian Restaurant serving quality Indian food. Our chefs come from Kerela, South India and have been trained at the 5 star Taj Hotel Group. We pride ourselves on using only fresh ingredients and our own fresh ground spices. Both our food and wine menu's are very reasonably priced and we also offer a special mid week menu as well as an early bird menu. We are situated in Monck Street which is Wexford's premier street for nightlife and we have beautiful views of Wexford harbour. 'Spice' has recently been refurbished to a style that is both contemporary and warm. Children are very welcome if well supervised and we offer a children's menu which also includes some Indian dishes.

Went to spice restaurant on recommendation of hotel reception, I arrived into a very warm and pleasant atmosphere which was a very good start on a very cold and wet night. Started with the goats cheese which was delicious, followed by a chicken bhuna and brown rice and garlic naan bread, food was cooked to perfection and I have to... More

I ordered a takeaway and firstly it tasted like a ready meal from the local supermarkets. Worst of all the next morning I was in Wexford A+E with gastroenteritis

Dear 'scottmicrolights', I contacted Tripadvisor to request that your review be removed as it is utterly slanderous and without proof or foundation. However, as Tripadvisor is a somewhat untouchable, faceless forum who seemingly can publish unfounded, unproven, defamatory reports without liability, they have, as of yet, not replied to my request, therefore I regrettably am compelled to reply to your... I visited Spice Indian Restaurant on the Tuesday before Christmas with my family. We were welcomed by a smiley and friendly waitress who sat us in a cosy yet spacious booth. We ordered off set menu which allowed us to have a starter , main course and dessert for €26.95 , which we all thought was great value. I ordered... More

Put simply, the best Indian food we've tasted in Ireland and we don't say that lightly! Myself and my wife went here during a Christmas break in Wexford. Our hotel recommended the restaurant to us and it was certainly a 5 star recommendation. We shared our starters of chilli fried squid rings and mini paneer and pineapple wraps, different and... Decided to try this place based on reviews. The only other restaurant I have had to pay for popadums was in London €1 per person here it's a little bit greedy no ifs or buts, I took the €4 you charged for popadums off your tip which is a shame because the service was great. The onion Bajis were bland... More

When we went here we were lucky enough to meet the owner of the restaurant who was introducing himself to everyone and asking if they were enjoying their meals, what a lovely man! We had no complaints to make to him and nothing but admiration to shower the waiter with. The food was top knotch and not at all too... More

Indian can be hit and miss, or so it can seem to someone like me who has never been to India, so doesn't necessarily know "authentic"; but I know when food tastes good. Our local Indian in Dungarvan is possibly the best value restaurant (taste/price) in Ireland, but the taste here was possibly a little better. We had two starters,... More
