Always a sure winner!

With 3 children it is always great to have the Riverbank as an option for a family meal out. We have eaten here a number of times and it is always great value and so tasty - clean plates all round. Staff were friendly enough though not chatty; they did what they had to do. Food was very quick and very good. Seafood chowder was as good as family had suggested and the... More

We go here a few times a year for food. Always friendly staff, a relaxed, cozy atmosphere and reliably tasy food. Good selection on menu and extremely family friendly.

We have eaten here as a family for a few times and every time we come the service and food is great. Also the children love the surprize they get when daddy pays the bill.......

Over the many times I have been at weddings, BBQ's and parties at the Riverbank the food has always been fantastic, never conveyor belt in style and staff are friendly and their attention to detail is faultless. Roll on my next trip !

We recently ate here and I don't no if I will return. I used to love it. on arrival I noted lovely lantern candle holders outside. All were so black from use they were filthy! Receptionist on passing was very friendly as were the staff in the main bar. Glad to see they were much cleaner than the last man... More

We were recommended to try the Riverbank when many other restaurants were closed onSunday evening even during the Opera Festival. We found it warm, comfortable with very attentive and friendly staff. The food and wines were good and we enjoyed the evening. It can be a bit noisy so not for a romantic date.

Great atmosphere. Cosy with open fires.Food is excellent and caters for celiacs also.Very attentive staff with attention given to children in family.Kids get their own menu and can colour in with crayons and colouring menu sheet supplied.A special treat of a 'kinder' egg given free to children after meal.Adults can really relax whilst children are busy.I have never been disappointed...
