Description: The Hollow Seafood and Steakhouse restaurant has worked hard to earn an...
The Hollow Seafood and Steakhouse restaurant has worked hard to earn an outstanding reputation for serving the freshest, top quality food, all locally sourced and prepared to the highest of standards. Our seafood is collected fresh from Duncannon and Kilmore Quay and our beef is locally reared. Our menu is designed daily to make the most of the best in-season produce. As well as an extensive restaurant menu served from from 12pm to 9pm each day, we also provide snacks, sandwiches and childrens meals. We also cater for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs on request. Our restaurant is so cosy and inviting that sometimes we can get quite busy, so it's a good idea to call ahead for the busier lunch and evening periods.

If you are a fish lover... this place is for you

Great seafood and meals at this restaurant. Huge selection of fish, one of the best around. The Monkfish Scampi is great. But loads of other dishes also excellent. All well presented and freshly cooked.

We had lunch here a half portion. It was plenty I would have not been able for a full portion and that is not a negative. The quality was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a lovely ambiance about the place bright airy and modern. The waitress told us that if we got ourselves there... More

This is a bar close to the Ballyhack ferry on the Wexford side. Fish is their speciality. We had monkfish scampi for our mains. It was good with the batter slightly heavy for my palate. The chips and vegetable were quite ordinary. The staff were friendly and helpful. The evening that we were there, it was busy with many the... More

Visited here with my husband and 2 daughters (the oldest being autistic and very noisy)! during our holiday to Wellingtonbridge. Firstly, I must congratulate the staff and customers on not batting an eyelid at our daughters antics. Secondly, the pan fried haddock was to die for. Perfection! I have tried to replicate this at home but sadly not a chance.... More

We visited over busy bank holiday weekend. Service was quite slow but food was lovely. All seafood was nice and fresh. Nice atmosphere. Lovely desserts. Pleasant evening.

The hollow is a bar/restaurant near to the village of Ramsgrange in Wexford. The speciality is fish and when you taste the quality you are left in no doubt as to why. The menu is straightforward and a good idea is to go for the day's specials on the blackboard. The service is fantastic and you can even ask for... More

Went yesterday bank holiday Monday with my partner and her parents. Food magnificent, lovely floury Wexford potatoes and from start to finish magnificent. Portions were so good none of us were able for desert. I also have to say and I say it's actually sadly unusual but the young lady who waited on our table was lovely a kind hearted... More

Don't pass it up if you've been hankering for fish, their selection is local, fresh, and they will fix it however you wish. The side dishes are uninspired and the bar only passable, but there is a small outside seating area in good weather, and a takeaway counter.

Saw The Hollow when on a drive while spending a weekend in Wexford near the Hook Peninsula. Decided to chance it for dinner. The fish was excellent and there was loads of it. This is not fast food so don't call in a rush - better to go, relax & eat fine seafood. It's not the biggest place to a... More
