Description: The Hollow Seafood and Steakhouse restaurant has worked hard to earn an...
The Hollow Seafood and Steakhouse restaurant has worked hard to earn an outstanding reputation for serving the freshest, top quality food, all locally sourced and prepared to the highest of standards. Our seafood is collected fresh from Duncannon and Kilmore Quay and our beef is locally reared. Our menu is designed daily to make the most of the best in-season produce. As well as an extensive restaurant menu served from from 12pm to 9pm each day, we also provide snacks, sandwiches and childrens meals. We also cater for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs on request. Our restaurant is so cosy and inviting that sometimes we can get quite busy, so it's a good idea to call ahead for the busier lunch and evening periods.

We regularly visit the hollow and love the food. We have never found the service quiet as it should be but my most recent visit was the worst its ever been. The overall service was just so slow and such long gaps between courses and even getting a drink to the table was a difficult task. It was quiet busy... More

We came here in a group of 4 adults and 5 children. We were made very welcome. The food and service was excellent and the value was good. We came again 2 days later. Lots of fresh fish dishes, everything home cooked by people that care. Family run, the owners took time to speak to all the customers including us.... More

A rather deflating mis-communication with a nearby establishment meant we were left out in the cold so as to speak. It was my wife's birthday celebration and The Hollow could not have done better. Their fish was superb, steak fantastic and the lovely folks even put candles on my wife's desert and sang "Happy Birthday". They truly rescued and cared.... More

We just stop here for a quick lunch in our way back from Hook... Very good surprise. Excellent food, soup of the day for kids, smoked salmon and scampi for us. Not only the food was very good but also very well presented Of course with a couple of nice Guinness (30€). Definitely a very good place to stop and... More

The food was lovely. The service was very slow. We got our food about 25 minutes after we ordered. The staff needs training and the pub needs an interior update. All in all it was alright.

We went out for our dinner on mothers day and the food was fantastic..... most of the items on the menu are mainly fish deep fried but that doesn't take away from the lovely warm welcoming that we got on arrival. everybody was so welcoming and was very keen to help us The portions are just about right and you... Had lunch here recently and the food was excellent. Portions a little small but fish was fresh and really well cooked. A little pricey for a famuly as main courses can be over 20 per head. Enjoyed it.
