The fish could not be fresher.Large portions. As all food is cooked while you wait there is a delay in eating. Well worth waiting for. Good service. Not cheap but great value.

We have dined in The Hollow Bar / Restaurant many times over many years and the one point that always sticks is consistency. The food is superb , portions are very generous and it boasts a fish menu that has to be seen to be believed . Located near Ramsgrange , Co. Wexford it is slightly off the beaten track... More

I hadn't passed by The Hollow for some time and was tempted this evening to try the newly opened takeaway as I was on the way to Passage East Car Ferry and didn't have a lot if time. I had a delicious portion of fresh cod goujons, with homemade tartare sauce. Lovely bright and clean takeaway with a place to... More

I am amazed and astounded by the menu, choice and quality of the food here. I had never heard of the Hollow before and my friend suggested we go. It looks like a country pub from the outside and the restaurant is certainly clean and fresh but the tables have salt and pepper on them when you arrive and nothing... More

Freshest fish I've ever eaten, big big portions and great value for money. We also had steak at our table which looked divine, it's well worth trying to find this place

Went for lunch on Sunday . Been here before and as always the food and service was excellent . Scampi for starters followed by haddock and then chocolate fudge cake . Little gem of a place .

We came across this place as we were driving past and we are so glad we found it. The wide selection of seafood was amazing. I has the monkfish for starters and then the hake. It was so good and melted in your mouth. The portions were large so we did not take dessert. There was homemade rhubarb or apple... More

On a very cold wet January night we had our first visit to the Hollow Bar. The welcome was warm, the food was excellent, huge portions of the freshest fish and my coeliac husband was delighted to be able to have freshly cooked chips with his meal. The restaurant filled up very fast, it doesn't seat more than about 30... More

It was our fIrst time to eat at the Hollow Bar on Thursday last and the food was great. We ate huge portions of cod and trout and both were cooked to perfection. As my husband is coeliac it can be a little difficult when we go out but he was catered for really well and was thrilled to be... More
