Wonderful food

We visited cafe nutshell for a late lunch/early dinner after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. It is a slightly strange setup with a deli then a farm shop then the cafe out the back but it's clean and comfortable. There is a box of books for the children and a good selection of sandwiches as well... read more

Enjoyed a late lunch here with family. The food was tasty, but overpriced. The lemon meringue desert is fab! However, the tables are very cramped & the owner is a bit odd.

I visited this cafe this week for lunch whilst on a business trip. I ordered soup & a plain ham/cheese sandwich and a pot of tea, no bread accompanied the soup , my bill came to €15, the soup and sandwich alone costing an extorinate €11.95. Upon paying my bill when I was leaving I complained to the gentleman at... More

It;s small and very good, on the side of the street in New Ross. very good quality food, not cheap but not too pricey considering the quality. Might be a little rushed, people queuing visibly while you eat, you might feel a bit under pressure to gobble it down to facilitate someone else getting a seat. Overall well worth a... More

What a taste sensation. Lovely atmosphere. Great service even though it was a busy Saturday. Love to see a place... More

Nice menu, thoughtful staff, recommended for families, especially with young kids! They use free range eggs only!

We had the open Crab plate + cod/hake - both simply sublime. Lovely atmosphere. Great board of specials. Vegetarian food & fresh fish dishes a speciality. Very friendly staff. Great coffee.

Good ingredients, catered for children (3 and 5 year old), fab salads and seafood. The staff could not have been nicer and for a change my kids got good food. The coffee was good too. Added extra there was a box of toys for the kids!!
