Harlequin is a gem of a restaurant in Waterford. It is a causal Italian cafe that is open at night. The food is delicious and authentic. The guys working there are friendly and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. Lovely selection of starters.. Meats, bruschetta, breads etc. Any of the main courses I have had have been very good but... Very accommodating waiter......ordered antipasti but wanted a mixture of different ones and that's exactly what we got. Pasta was delicious and tasted fresh, fresh food is always worth the wait, can't wait to go back.

I adore this restaurant! Staff friendly, lovely relaxed atmosphere, nice wine list and the best Italian food you will find. We always get the same thing, selection of cheeses, bruschetta and bread and dips. The smoked cheese and Parma dish is fabulous too. Highly advise you book early for the weekend. Couldn't recommend this restaurant enough - great location, atmosphere,... More

Absolutely fantastic food! The atmosphere is so chilled, so laid back. Very Italian indeed. I'll go back only if I'm not starving or in a rush....The food takes a while to come out. I guess you can't rush perfection!

Went here about four years ago. Had the pasta and some wine. Really lovely. BUT....our bill came to 41euro and we gave him 50, sat around waiting for change but none ever came! Didn't go back as a result, but would have loved to.

I love this Tiny Gem hidden away on Stephen Street in Waterford, very small number of seat, warm and welcoming, staff are so helpful and attentive, the food is amazing, mind you I always seem to go for the same dishes, the pesto (homemade) gnocchi and the crostinni, highly recommend booking in advance, although if you do arrive on chance...
