My favourite by far. Starters were beautiful. Mains were just mouth watering and dessert waaay too much but I gladly gained a stone in its honour. The staff add to this place. Kevin and Ken have the right idea. Employ good staff and havw good food ...The rest will follow and it definitely does that here. Its my fave Waterford... More

We were recommended this restaurant after our Waterford tour and we were not disappointed! The special appetizer was a creamy goat cheese beetroot tart that was to die for! I would have just ordered another for my meal had I known it was going to be so good. The meals are huge and the wine is good. Kevin, or server,... More

We started out on our way to Emiliano's on a Wed. For lunch but when we got there it was closed and no signage about hours of operation. We were trying to discuss our options when friendly server Kevin O'Leary popped out of nowhere offering his restaurant .....McLeary's (next door) lunch menu. It looked delicious and there were only locals... More

We ate in McLeary's recently, and were surprised how busy they were for a Monday night. Thank god we booked in advance, as they were turning people away. We both had steak and were very pleased with the meal and the service, which was friendly, without being intrusive. If you're a bit of a traditionalist,(as I am), you might be... More

Well worth trying, couldn't fault the food. Chicken and Ken run a tight ship, Great atmosphere, can't wait to go back for more.

Went to McLeary's last evening (Tuesday 24 June); the place was buzzing - and I was later to find out why. Great food - garlic mushrooms followed by truly excellent fillet steak. Service very professional and very friendly. I asked my sister why there were so many outside (smoking?), but it transpired that some of them were queuing to get... More

My Wife and I recently visited McLeary's on a recommendation from my Aunt and we couldn't have been happier with the decision. The food was fantastic! I especially recommend the fish & chips, breaded mushrooms & the apple mixed berry crumble dessert. I wasn't sure about bringing our 2 year old with us because of the beautiful decor, but the...
