Beautiful food

Had a nice night out here with one of my friends. The food was beautiful, as was the wine. Only downside was we were put into what felt like a back room, and had to ask for a blow heater as I couldn't take off my coat.

Went here last friday with my husband. We have been before but many years ago. The welcome was good, we were shown to our seats and given menus. We ordered from market menu - €35 pp for 3 courses. The starters were both disapointing, however we both ordered steak which was fabulous. Dessert was also lovely, as was the wine.... More

We went here for a treat and some father and daughter bonding. The welcome was fabulous and we felt like VIP’s throughout. The restaurant setting is stunning, beautifully laid tables with real cloth napkins and napkin holders pretty much what you would expect from a 5 star restaurant with a lovely ambiance. I went for the crab salad which was... More

My husband and I went here for Valentine's dinner. They had two sittings at €45 a head. We opted for the second sitting. There was around 6 options for each course, we both went for the goat cheese starter, my husband went for the fillet steak and on recommendation by our waiter 'Jim' I went with the duck. Our starters... More

This is one of Waterford’s most elegant restaurants, situated in the basement/cellar of the Waterford Chamber of Commerce building in George’s Street. The main dining area, with its stone floors, whitewashed walls and arched ceilings, creates a very exclusive atmosphere. The main dining area is also quite roomy with all of the tables nicely spaced to provide sufficient privacy while... More

Amazing food, staff and ambience. The market menu is exceptional value. If I was to be in Waterford again I would definitely go back. Only criticism ... leave the wine and water on the table, it's nice to be served refreshments but a bit annoying when you are waiting for a top up and can't reach your bottle! It's only... More

Took my mother here for her birthday with my boyfriend and my brother. We opted for the €35 menu and were not disappointed. The menu runs all night and offers an amuse bouche and a plentiful choice of starters, mains and desserts. My mom and I had the crab risotto and it was out of this world! So good I... More

Everything was fine, food is delicious, staff very nice and friendly, but when I got my final bill I was a bit shocked...well maybe because it's was good, but for me a bit too much pay to visit again. Overall if money is not an issue, would recommend definitely!
