An excellent find.

We went out to look for a seafood restaurant and it was closed so we stumbled across this place. What a great discovery. Excellent food and excellent staff. I would recommend the Salmon main dish and the Malbec wine. It is certainly worth a visit and I may even have to go back to try another one... read more

With an array of awards displayed outside and with a reputation for being very popular, perhaps I was expecting too much ? Starter ( French Onion Soup ) was very disappointing and the main course ( rib eye ) was underwhelming . Desserts were good and the wine was very good but overall, I was disappointed . I have had better... More

Is it possible to give more than 5 stars? We loved this place. It was our second visit. Charming and interesting decor. Everything well maintained clean and shining. The welcome was warm and the waiter was chatty and knowledgeable, able to talk about the cheeses and the different regions of France. The meal itself was a thing of joy, fresh... More

More upscale atmosphere, French cuisine. Beautiful, old world building. Food is French, which was a welcome change from standard Irish fare.

We visited on the occasion of our wedding anniversary. From the minute we entered the door the experience was brilliant. Friendly staff, lovely surroundings - no pressure on us at all to rush. Menu choice was excellent, portion size just right and our waiter was an absolutely charming French chap with glasses (whose name I didn't catch - my apologies).... More

Lovely environment in a large vaulted basement very tastefully decorated. What really made the meal was the excellent French waiter. So nice to get a waiter who actually enjoys his job and knows about the menu. There is a good varied menu at very reasonable prices and an excellent selection of craft beers.

Lovely ambience, nice menu, good wine list and service was great. Be sure to ask for the main dining room. The other room is a bit small. Really enjoyed the experience and excellent value when used to Dublin prices.....

I have always walked by the little restaurant with the rustic stairway down to the basement wondering what lay behind its doors. I'm now somewhat annoyed with myself for not eating in La Boheme sooner because the meal i had recently was sublime. You wont find quality for that price anywhere else in Ireland and having lived in Dublin for... More
