While the food was good our overall experience was very disappointing. Our two previous visits, when we were 'walk ins', were excellent. We received warm welcomes on both previous occasions and were treated like wanted customers. However the first time we booked in advance, it was a different story. Though the music was a bit too loud, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming at Bistro Bianconi. The staff is nice, available and smiling even though 80% of the restaurant was already filled with customers. Waiters are also patient as we were only having a glass of wine while waiting to be hungry and they gave us the time we... More

My wife and I decided to stop on way home from Galway for an early bird Sunday dinner, my wife ordered a Goats Cheese bruschetta dish which came out and the toast was burnt,I ordered deep fried peppers stuffed with cheese which was ok but the rocket leaves with it were dry no dressing with some parmesan shavings, for main... This is a very good Italian style restaurant that we have use many times. The pasta dishes are excellent and the Pizzas Will be loved by the kids and adults alike. It can get very crowded though as its a very popular restaurant with the locals..

My wife and I ate here before attending a show at the Hawkswell. While the service was a bit slow - they were admittedly very busy and we were walk-ins, that did not detract from the food. Suffice it to say, the flavours and quality of our pizzas and pasta were second to none - and we have ate in... More

I am a massive fan of this place. There is such a variety of food to choose from on the menu, something for everybody, and it's absolutely delicious. I've never had a bad meal here. Also it has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, a perfect place to have an enjoyable meal. Would highly recommend.

Whilst staying at the Glasshouse hotel in Sligo I dined at Bistro Bianconi on the recommendation of a friend. I have to say i was not disappointed. We where assigned a waiter who tended to our every need and who's knowledge of the menu and wine list was excellent. The Italian theme was understated and quaint. The food was to... More

This was my favourite restaurant in sligo..excellent food and staff ..however my one complaint is that since installing the new take away section ..I feel the restaurant seating is now completely on top of each other ...no privacy whatsoever as you can hear both tables either side of you conversation as the tables are just side by side in one...
