I organised a group lunch for myself and 12 people to this pub, We have decided we would try it for a change and most of the group had not being before. I prebooked the order with an extremely helpful member of staff Sonia. She could not do enough for us. There was an extensive menu to choose from and... More

One of my favourite pubs in Sligo. Food is extremely reasonable and great quality. Their version of cheese chips must be tried! Great spot for having a good nite in also. Always busy and has great bands

The swagman is the best place for anyone looking for a nice relaxing place to go with the family or just with friends. Its great for people that love music and it's got an awesome beer garden. If you've got that swag then the swagman is for you. Enjoy :)

The glasses and cutlery were not very clean looking. The food was good but the adult portion of chips was the same as the child portion. We immediately ordered... More

Had prawns on toast - deliciously done in a creamy garlic sauce and a generous helping for a starter portion. The claims this restaurant makes about seafood hold true. Staff are lovely and friendly with smiles all round.

We spent a very entertaining night in The Swagman during our short stay in Sligo. It was a Monday nignt and there was an excellent band - don't know its name I'm afraid. They played an eclectic mix of music to suit all tastes including Bob Dylan, The Band, The Waterboys etc.. I gather that it's a weekly event so... More

Been coming to the Swagman for a long time; usually for a meal and a beer. They have a great selection of beers. The owner is a nice friendly guy and he really makes the place. They've a good selection of foods reasonably priced and generally really good. But the service is hit and miss; the staff are all friendly... More
