We had the "early bird" three course dinner while having a weekend in Sligo. We had terrific food, every course was lovely. Excellent, friendly service and amazing value at under 20 euros. Great food - beautifully presented - I can't rate it too highly.

Always meant to go to this restaurant and finally got around to it recently. Amazing dinner for even better value. Atmosphere is great and the service couldn't be faulted! 10/10

Returning after a couple of years with our son and his wife. Food just as good, great selection on early bird menu 20€(order before 6.20). 3 courses inc coffee all good portions for price. This time sat near window with view of river, felt less claustrophobic than other tables further inside. Deserts were superb especially the waffles. Music though could... More

We had heard this place was good and went for lunch here just at as the recent Fleadh was finishing. We both agreed that the goats cheese starter was the best goats cheese dish we had ever tasted. Service was very attentive and efficient. Decor was nice. We had eaten there years ago when it was the Cairo cafe, I... More

Wonderful food, good staff, maybe a 5 min walk from hotel.....safe area. We didnt have reservations, and they were kind to accommodate us on a busy nite.

Very disappointing.Myself and two friends booked in for the early bird menu, which we have often done previously and thoroughly enjoyed. This time however was very different and not in a pleasant way.The starters were lovely however the mains were missing items that were used in the description on the menu e.g the parsnip chip,so essentially all we had on... Has to be the best value around. Our party of four dined here on a Sunday evening, all partaking in the Early Bird option. Not easy to please four diners with every course of a three course meal but the kitchen pulled it off; no evidence of economy with the ingredients, a common finding with early bird menus. Service attentive... More

Visited on a busy Saturday evening - service friendly and efficient but not overbearing. Complimentary bread with pesto and a mini-cup of very tasty vegetable soup as amuse-bouche. Mains of lamb and seabass both cooked to perfection and presented with style. Only downside is a lack of a good vegetable selection as side order - plenty of potato and saute... More

Very good food. Waiters can be a bit cold if you get them on a bad day. Nice restaurant in nice surroundings. Much prefer sister restaurant Tra Ban in Strandhill. It's more relaxed and less pretentious, but that's just a personal preference more than anything.

Visited Eala Bhan on the final night of the Fleadh with a good friend from New York. Given that Sligo town was heaving with people and at the end of what must have been a very busy week for the management and staff of Eala Bhan, we were met with a very warm welcome at 10.20pm and provided with excellent...
