Stopped in Tra Ban for lunch after a long walk on the beach. My wife and I were very impressed by the standard of service and the quality of the food all a very reasonable price. I would recommend the Tra Ban to any one who enjoys good food and quality service. We will be back.

We decided to try Tra Ban based on their outstanding reputation. We were very disappointed. We ordered the chicken wings to start which are described as a hot... More

Strandhill is one of Irelands truly hidden gems and this restaurant fits in perfectly with the setting and is a great addition to the village. i had the salmon sushi starter; what a truly wonderful irish spin on international cuisine, very clever, beautifully presented and even tastier than it looks! I had surf and turf for main. the steak was... More

Visited Tra ban restaurant on Saturday night, the place was very busy and had a lovely atmosphere, we were greeted immediately and shown to our table with a smile, this restaurant is big on local fresh produce and fish specials, upon ordering we received a complementary soup and bread with pesto which was Devine, overall the food was beautifully presented... I ate here last week with my partner, having visited Strandhill and walking for miles we decided to treat ourselves. We were not disappointed. We were greeted by a friendly face (front of house girl) who showed us to our table for 2 by the window. We even managed to catch the most amazing sunset but that's not why I'm... More

Had dinner here during the week and was very disappointed. The restaurant itself was dark and not particularly comfortable or pleasant to be in. The toilets were disgusting. They are shared with a Chinese restaurant across the hall and smelled strongly of Chinese food. They were poorly maintained and not clean. The waitress was pleasant. The food itself however was...
