My mother and I went to this cafe with high expectations. When we arrived the cafe was full and we patienly waited in the doorway for a seat. The waitresses noted that we only wanted a table for 2. After approximatley 15 minutes a table became avaliable, while we waited for it to be cleaned before we proceeded to go... More

Went in for breakfast with my son and a friend after a morning of surfing at Strandhill. My son had the eggs and soldiers with beans and a huge scone! We had tea and coffee with toast and scones. It's such a lovely place with a great vibe - you could just sit here for hours looking out the window... More

Informal surroundings but quality fare served by friendly staff. That is what you can expect at Strandhills seafront cafe. A welcome addition is their adjacent shop where you can purchase their homemade breads and confiture.Perfect location to chill after a walk on beach or a view of local surfing schools at play.

Good attentive staff and service is quite good. Outdoor seating area in the front is almost always in shade in the mornings so it can be... More

Liked the food and service, location excellent. Bit of a wait for a few members of our party, we were in after the breakfast finished but accommodated my youngest daughter regardless. Will be back

Shells have always been great for a meal, and now they have introducted a great craft beer from Donegal, its worth a visit just for this. We had an early evening meal and beer on the patio overlooking the beach. Fantastic

I always look forward to coming back here in the summer. Friendly staff, amazingly fresh and yummy food, great coffee and really nicely decorated. The cookbook is highly recommended as well. Perfect post walk/surf pick me up.

Good food. Unbelievable desserts. A little cramped inside but not to bad. Alway a busy little spot. Nice to just look out at the waves when your waiting on your food.

Had breakfast and lunch here when we stayed in Strandhill. Food is fantastic!! Lovely little shop to the side also. We enjoyed both our breakfast and lunch outside as the weather was lovely too. Staff are very welcoming and friendly.
