Nice food, excellent service

Had afternoon tea here recently, food was good but the service was excellent with particular mention to our waiter Karl who is extremely good at his job, will return soon.

Myself and the Girlfriend visited for a meal on Feb 14th. Service was extremely slow, staff were rushed off their feet, it was a very busy night to be fair. When confronted that we had been waiting for over one hour between courses while others who entered the restaurant after us where finished their meal, they didn't seem to care... More

I came out for a meal in the bar as an occasion but it ended up a battle- a battle for service, a battle to get the table cleaned and also a battle to get the waitress to understand me. This was a Sunday busy but should have not been like this - A nice waitress served us at 7pm... More

The ambience of the Hunting Lodge is great. There is a relaxing outdoor seating area, with flowers. The surrounding area is nice for a stroll; beside a Castle, woodlands and a lake.

Visited with 3 other family members for Sunday lunch. Staff were excellent and so was the food. Clean plates all round. Will be back.

Food just what we wanted. Soup home-made. Lovely pot of tea and the sandwich lovely! The ambience was busy, friendly and professional. Keep up the good work!

Loved the coffee, loved the ambience. This is the place to come if you want time to yourself to read a paper over a cup of good coffee. It's a small, unpretentious Italianate style restaurant in a shopping centre. Nothing to dislike!
