We discovered Cronin's Sheebeen when we stopped to get directions to our hotel. It looked so nice that we returned for an evening meal and were delighted that we did so. My husband had a very tasty Guinness stew while I had a delicious hake in crispy breadcrumbs. We shared a dessert and fought over who got the 'big half'!... More

We stopped here because we share the same last name. The owner came out to meet us when he heard and we left with some nice souvenirs from the place. The food was great, starting with the smoked salmon with the delicious traditional Irish brown bread. Everyone was happy with their meals and we felt satisfied when we left. This... More

Great gastro pub food, lovely service and views that are unbeatable - especially from the upstairs restaurant over Clew Bay.

My wife & I recently stayed in Westport for two nights as part of our honeymoon tour of Ireland. We tried the Sheebeen on the first night, the pub was warm & welcoming with a fantastic atmosphere! Likewise the food was excellent & very well presented, so much so we returned on our second night to sample more of the... More

I absolutely love this place with it's fabulous food (just melting in your mouth), the atmosphere and the location. Mayo is absolutely beautiful place to spend your time off and Sheebeen is the place to go for a food.

I stopped by the Sheebeen on a weekend break with my friend for a snack but we were left very disappointed by the food we received. We ordered Sandwiches and Chips because the Menu had not got a lot of choice and what we got for €13 was tasteless and the portion size was very small and very little effort... More

We were staying in Cillcoman Lodge B&B (also very nice place) only 10 minutes walk from the Sheebeen so we decided to have a bite to eat here instead of walking in to Westport. We made the best decision. Even though the pub is quite small and all the tables were taken when we arrived there we were immediately welcome... More

This is a perfect spot! We were staying at the Westport Coast Hotel and could walk here. We stopped in for an early dinner and settled into the snug room with 4 adults and 3 children. The staff are wonderful and made us feel so welcome as we relaxed. The food is VERY good and homemade. We came back the... More

had a lovely meal at the Sheebeen today, it was a great day in Westport, sun was shining, nice location and just the kind of food you would expect in a good Irish restaurant. will defiantly be back again.
