An Port Mor Restaurant is run by Chef-Proprietor Frankie Mallon. Our philosophy is to use seasonal, artisan produce from local suppliers. House specialities include pot roasted pigs cheeks with black pudding & apple and vanilla sauce and 21 day dry-aged sirloin. The main emphasis is, however, on local fresh seafood and shellfish, particularly lobster, crab, scallops and langoustines fresh from the west coast of Ireland, especially Clew Bay.

We enjoyed a lovely meal last Friday night. Having suffered a woeful meal and tired service the previous evening in a nearby restaurant, we had high expectations. We were not disappointed in this regard. MostTripAdvisor reviews concentrate on the food, decor and ambience in what is an established and exceptional restaurant, I have to pay special mention to the man... More

The food and service was amazing. Had a fantastic visit to this restaurant. I would highly recommend it, it's very quaint and the experience was fantastic. If your going on a weekend you will need to book up before as they get very busy. We had bbq Salmon (wow) and the Steak (wow)

This is one of my favourite places to eat and I have been there since it opened. The food is always excellent from the ever popular pig's cheeks to the seafood specials. Service is friendly and competent. We always appreciate the little extras like the homebreads and sweets which are complimentary with early bird menu. It's well worth seeking out... More

This restaurant was recommended to us before our trip to Westport and one evening whilst dandering around the town we happened to come across it down a small alley. As walk ins, we were seated immediately which was impressive seeing as how busy the restaurant became shortly after for a Tuesday night in January. Our waiter Stephan was friendly and... More

Tried this restarant early this year in April, found it hard to get a booking, we got one eventually after a few tries. Restaurant is small so tables close together, found the place cold - it was raining outside !! Menu was varied and pricey , food was good but not fantastic.Dont know if I would go back again ??

What a quaint restaurant tucked away in an archway in Westport. The décor is quirky and homely. The staff are so professional, knowledgeable and passionate about their food. The menu was to die for, the only problem being I wanted everything on it. The chefs specials and recommendations were spot on. The steak perfectly cooked. The quality and flavours made... More
