Great food

Quiet on our visit but still a lovely atmosphere and great food. We had starters, followed by pizza and seafood dish, everything was top class and we would definitely return. The menu was also very keenly priced and the staff were extremely pleasant.

On arriving it was obvious a booking was necessary. We got a table facing the entrance door on a busy passageway. The staff were very good. Service between courses was very slow.My choice of food was good. but my partner from France was very disappointed with the tiny amount of fish served on her choice. For the price it was a... More

We dropped in to get a table on a Tuesday night and the place was bunged - always a great sign! We secured a table for 9.30 and went to Matt Maloys for a drink - the restaurant rang us when the table was ready... the menu was vast, the atmosphere was cosy, the service was friendly, the food was... The restaurant is at the back of a laneway off Bridge Street, Westport, but it's well worth the detour. Staff were very helpful - we didn't have a booking and it was very busy - they sent us off to have a drink (we went to Matt Molloy's) and they rang us when a table became vacant. We had starters... four of us had a good meal in this restaurant recently. Two had the sea bass special which they reported as very good as was one of the pasta dishes. I chose the pasta dish with crab which unfortunately was rather dry (but helped down with a good bottle of wine!). there was an interesting variety of things on the... More

I had the pleasure of eating here again last Saturday night. I've been before and really enjoyed the food. This time my friends and I were in the outdoor area. It was so comfy and warm and created a lovely vibe. The food and staff were excellent as usual. Would highly recommend this to locals and visitors:-D

There's a great atmosphere as soon as you arrive at this restaurant; the room is warm and cosy, the tables private and the decor tasteful throughout. The menu has plenty of variety with some nice additions on the specials board also. We visited on a Sunday the day after Valentines Day, so a lot of the seafood items were sold... More

We ate here when we visited Westport in Jan earlier this year, and it was only okay. The restaurant was too loud n busy with tables quite close together, my main was the only veg pasta which was overcooked undrained pasta topped with the same ratatouille-like vegetable mix my husbands main meal came with. Major anti climax after all the... More
