Good chipper

Never had a problem with this chipper , maybe some have just been unlucky , decent amounts of quality chips , their regular portion of chips is larger than the other chippers large. Other than the doner kebabs (nowhere and I mean nowhere in castlebar does a proper kebab) everything is as it says as... read more

As all the restaurants were closed we decided to eat in a take away. Unfortunately we found Danollas and the experience had a lot to be desired. While we were eating our take away my girlfriend let out a shriek and pointed to her chicken goujon meal where lay a big dead bluebottle! We alerted a member of staff who... More

This is not a fine dining experience but the food is fresh and tasty. Great for chips, fish, burgers, chicken etc.

Unreal. Food was perfect. The service (Bridie) very happy to help and great humour. I'll be back. Top marks all round.

Best Cod and Chips I have had outside England. Well worth going to when in Castlebar. The restaurant isn't 5 star just basic but the staff are helpful and chatty. A descent and clean place to eat. We will certainly eat there again when we are back an the West ,

We passed through Castlebar after a long weekend in Achill and on the way home. I'd been dying for some fish and chips so we checked on Tripadvisor for somewhere in town. All I can say is that the reports are accurate and the food, service, and value are second to none. I had smoked cod and curry/cheese chips which... More
