Fish and Chips

Best fish and chips in town and in a semi traditional atmosphere. The staff is great and the food is good. just look for the big pink building in Castlebar for good food....park, eat and shop.

Unreal. Food was perfect. The service (Bridie) very happy to help and great humour. I'll be back. Top marks all round.

Best Cod and Chips I have had outside England. Well worth going to when in Castlebar. The restaurant isn't 5 star just basic but the staff are helpful and chatty. A descent and clean place to eat. We will certainly eat there again when we are back an the West ,

We passed through Castlebar after a long weekend in Achill and on the way home. I'd been dying for some fish and chips so we checked on Tripadvisor for somewhere in town. All I can say is that the reports are accurate and the food, service, and value are second to none. I had smoked cod and curry/cheese chips which... More

Chipper and restaurant. Basic but great. Large portions of well cooked food for the hungry. Nice choice of food for what is basically a chipper! Good value for money. Try their delicious onion rings.
