this is the best chippy in castlebar by far... fantastic fish and chips and they have a nice, clean dining area if you dont want to stink up the car!!!

Best fish and chips in town and in a semi traditional atmosphere. The staff is great and the food is good. just look for the big pink building in Castlebar for good food....park, eat and shop.

Chipper and restaurant. Basic but great. Large portions of well cooked food for the hungry. Nice choice of food for what is basically a chipper! Good value for money. Try their delicious onion rings.

Grand place to go for a quick snack. Lovely homemade chips. The southern fried chicken is pretty good too. Staff are good. It's a good place to bring children and not expensive. Only problem I had was that its quite chilly with so many doors open . Will definately be back

Best chips I've had in a long time. Hand cut and cooked - delicious. It was one of the busiest eating places we seen whilst trying to find dinner, can understand why, portion sizes were very good.

Down to earth, honest to God place to eat. Nothing fancy about it but you'll leave filled and satisfied. Homely! Nice creamy ice cream cones!

The chips here are beautiful real potatoes and you get a good portion. I have been here for take away several times and was never dispointed.

Westport Danollas is always the nicest chip shop I have ever been to and today we decided to try the Castlebar one. I must say I was disgusted, the chips were not properly cooked.. the snack box was just chicken burgers since they obviously had no more southern fried chicken, the chicken piece was burnt and tough and the onion...
