Best Indian food I ever had but room needs a serious makeover!

Myself and my husband had a delicious meal in the Punjabi house. It was a Saturday night and the staff were kept very busy with take away orders. This is part of the problem.......when you are sitting in the restaurant, you don't expect to be on show or to see all the take away customers. Also the... read more

Yes the food tasted lovely but bits of old food on the walls beside you as you ate and wallpaper peeling from the wall. It makes you wonder what state the kitchen is in. People collecting takeaways standing beside you looking over you as you sit and eat your dinner. No drinks licence. Won't b going back.

The food has been consistently great for years. Lovely friendly staff. I usually do takeaway but sometimes sit in.

It's a BYOB or wine venue. Prices reflect the quality and standard of the food . Go there enjoy .... oh book a... More

This should be your go to Indian to sit in or take away. The decor needs a cash injection but the food is top notch! The lamb Tikka Masala is my absolute favourite and would highly recommend it.

This restaurant is definitely nothing to write home about it terms of the decor (it's like an old sitting room with wallpaper that has dog ears on the corners) but the food - WOW! Real, authentic Indian food. For starters we got one chicken Puri to share, this blew me away with flavour - sweet, tangy sauce but definitely had... More

Love this place. Only problem is you are always stuffed when you leave. Bring your own drink which is great.
