Great food awful seating

Visited The eastern Seaboard last Sunday. Great menu and excellent food. The seating is really dreadful. We asked could we sit on the more comfortable seats around the side but and were told they were reserved. The service was very slow, the starter arrived within an acceptable time but there... read more

I almost didn't book as lady who took my phone booking was extremely abrupt. Her main concern was not my first time visit to this recommended restaurant but to ensure we'd vacate our table by 7pm. Such was the issue she made of the limited two hour sitting, we were expecting long queues outside the door. We arrived promptly at... More

We booked in advance for a birthday meal having been there on numerous occasions before. This time we all felt that the standards and service had dropped. The restaurant is understaffed. We were booked in for 7pm and arrived at 6:55pm. We were promptly shown to our table. We then received our menus. Our orders were taken 35 mins later.... More

Some of the rudest staff I have ever come across! They made us feel like we were interrupting and inconveniencing them whenever we tried to speak to someone. A problem I have seen a lot of people comment on is when the staff hurry you out of your seats to get the next people in and I really thought they... More

Fab food. Fab service. Excellent prices. Great choice of local, fresh foods. This restaurant is a must visit for people visiting Drogheda. The little details are great too - such as the breadsticks and crudites for the children before dinner and the upside down ice cream cones for kids dessert. Simple but clever - our children call it 'the place... More

My girlfriend and I have been here a bunch of times, and would probably eat there every week if we lived closer by! The food is fantastic. It's bright, fresh and there's always a great selection of seasonal specials, often with really interesting locally sourced ingredients. Would suggest ordering a bunch of small plates, of which there's also a nice... More

Saw this on TripAdvisor and thought we would give it a go. I was blown away by the menu choice. It was superb. On arrival we were given a clipboard with the menu options on several pages. A little confusing trying to search through what was on offer. However we found what was on offer and we were not disappointed.... More

Eastern Seaboard was recommended by a couple of local people, and seemed to have good reviews on Trip Advisor. Eight of us went for dinner and had an enjoyable evening. The clipboard had pages of choices of food and drink. We sampled a wide variety and were not disappointed with any of them. I had the Moules-Frites which were delicious,... More

Really am so amazed how this place only Has 4 star rating it should get 5 plus. Myself and my family had amazing top quality food and service. Customers should park there problems at the front door and not take it out on there lovely staff. Go you won't be disappointed it really is a brilliant place to dine.
