Disappointing!

We used to eat here a lot. It was the best place to eat in Drogheda by a mile but the prices went up the portion sizes went down and the standard of the food went down. The staff are very bad mannered now but used to be lovely. They nearly tut if you ask them for something they have... read more

Have eaten here on many occasions, the food is always delicious and is very good value, however the service can sometimes let down the whole experience. We were waiting 20 minutes for someone to take our order.

Had a lovely sesame salmon main course here on a Sunday at 5pm. The portions were very small, for both starters and main except for the lamb which was a decent amount of food. The sides are E4 each but really don't seem worth that (e.g. 4 euro for 3 sweet potato fries?!) There were 6 of us and we... More

This used to be my favourite restaurant in Drogheda. But lately the service leaves a lot to be desired. The food and value are still excellent but the standard of service is very disappointing. Waiting ages to be served, food arriving before drinks, food arriving before cutlery, mistakes with orders and unclean toilets are just some of the problems I've... More

Been there twice, enjoyed the first time, good service & food, was disappointed the second time, because even though I had booked, we were squeezed into a table in the corner, behind the door, the service was poor, we had to keep going to call a waitress & the food was mediocre, would not bother going there again.

Great experience all round, friendly, efficient staff, gorgeous food. A little bit noisy due to acoustics, chairs scraping on floor, but good atmosphere so hasn't stopped me returning time and time again.

Eastern seaboard is an excellent restaurant. Food is consistently good. If I was to be really picky, & its only 1 negative, it can be quite noisy, echoey..But because of the type of building it is, there really is not a lot u could do.

Food is always good, friendly staff and very reasonable - for weekends you need a reservation, they also do breakfast at the weekends

Had valentines lunch with my hubby and daughter last week. Food was lovely as always. We are regulars at Eastern Seaboard but it's been several months since we last made it in here. 5 different waiting staff servicing our table meant they all assumed one of the others was looking after us resulting in slow service, not being able to...
