Very good.

I visited Freddy's with a friend while our stay in Limerick. We showed up rather late without reservation and were nicely asked to sit on a bench at the entrance to wait for a table. We could see the menu in the meantime. All together we didn't wait too long. We got a table upstaires in a corner... read more

Visited Freddy's on Saturday, and again it did not disappoint. I was looking forward to it all week. As you walk into Freddy's you know it is going to be special, it is down a quaint lane in Limerick, and when you enter you just feel the warmth of the place, from the staff to the inviting atmosphere. You are... More

Freddy has been for a very long time my favourite restaurant . It's rustic charm and ambience with its top class food always makes for an enjoyable evening . I've been returning periodically for 20 years ,even though I now no longer live in limerick. This was the first time though we brought my very fussy teenage son who delight... More

Just had one of the best meals ever in this beautiful little place. The food here is first class lovely fresh local ingredients cooked to order. Can highly recommend the crab salad and the chicken with chorizo and sun dried tomatoes. Lovely staff extremely friendly and attentive but not in your face. Great wine list too. Will definitely be back... More

Myself, my husband and my son visit this restaurant on a fairly regular basis. We absolutely love it, look forward to it and are never disappointed. The setting is warm and cosy. Staff are friendly and efficient. And the food is tasty, fresh, wonderfully cooked and delicious. We have tasted a number of different dishes and each one is better... More

I have not dined here in a while but just want to add to its positive reviews as the last time I was here a couple of years ago the food was amazing and I have heard nothing but great reviews from friends and colleagues since then. I also wanted to point out that if trip advisor provided a fair... More

We were dining as a group of 5 on a busy Saturday night and it was great! The food was delicious, the service was good and the only disappointment was a cold starter which was promptly replaced within a few minutes after complaining.
