oh Freddy's Bistro... food is so fantastic, I'm already planning the next visit :) Freddy's open from Tuesday to Saturday from 5.30pm till late. This is a very popular place you need to book in advance (especially if you would like to go on the weekend). I was in Freddy's on Wednesday and the place was full. As far as... More

Great quality food, organic wine, and impeccable service. Non fussy, inviting atmosphere paired with a deceptively impressive meal. Visting Limerick for a couple days and made a same day reservation for our anniversary. Recommended for sure. Mushroom risotto, duck , and nutty pancake a must.

I am just out the door from freddys bistro tonight and I felt absolutely obliged to share my experience so that others can enjoy the same unbelievable food I have just had the pleasure of enjoying. I have never had a more delicious three course meal and the service was impeccable. The owner of the bistro, Liz made sure our... More

Spend a very enjoyable evening in Freddies Bistro last night with my 2 sisters & 2 nieces. Our table was booked for 8pm but we arrived at 7.45 but our table was ready anyway. The restaurant was full & we were taken up stairs and given our menus. A few of us were not sure what to order but the... More

Joined my sisters in Freddys recently for an early-bird. Its a lovely cosy restaurant which has a wide menu - the lamb shank was delicious as was the duck - would have preferred "real" roast potatoes instead of the "garlic roasted small spuds". Wine good and staff very attentive - a busy place with a good buzz.

Probably the best restaurant in Limerick, lovely atmosphere and beautifully cooked top ingredients but book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Very good food, well worth a visit. We were upstairs which was fine, maybe tables a bit close together and it seemed service a little slow, but definitely worth a visit

Had a lovely meal here recently with my partner. You definitely need to book in advance as it's quite small and seems to be very busy all the time but you won't be disappointed.. Lovely food, atmosphere and service. Great wines too!!
