Our first night in limerick we all got the fish and chips at Curragower. Very good! A little crowded and busy, but that means it's popular, right? For serious drinking there is a nice open air patio looking out on the River Shannon, and the castle across the river. Recommended.

Good Irish pub food as promised (and highly recommended by a local who was sitting next to me on a flight in). Burgers as good as the seafood.

Loved everything about here. Food, setting, interior.... I had chowder, fourth in a week and this was my favourite. Will definitely be going back!

The Curragower is hands down the best find in Limerick city. The food is delicious, the pints are tasty and the staff are all so friendly! The Curragower experience just has a taste of more about it! I just always want to come back for more!!!

Having moved in to accommodation within a 5-minute walk of the Curragower, we said it would be a sin not to try out what they had to offer and indeed it would have been a sin not to have sampled it because it's a fantastic restaurant. I went for the chicken wings and, to say the least, they give a... More

Was here for the first time last weekend and had a lovely meal with a few drinks. We ordered the seafood platter and the crab claws to share and there was absolutely loads in it. Loved the little mini bowls of chowder that came on the platter, it was a great touch! I'd go back for the chowder alone, it... More

Found The Curragower by accident after walking about three blocks from our hotel. Enjoyed it so much we walked many blocks two weeks later from a different hotel to return to The Curragower. The food was incredible, especially the seafood chowder. But all the entrees ordered by our group were delicious. Mussels?? Try an overflowing bowl of them. Salmon?? Cooked... More
