A classic Irish pub with some of the best seafood chowder I've tasted! A nice selection of traditional Irish food and dessert. Sunday nights are a real treat when Limerick's very own Hermitage Green takes the stage to provide some lovely music!

I go here regularly for food and/or drinks. The menu is small but with choice to suit all tastes, and the menu changes regularly. I generally eat one of their seafood options - the chowder is very hearty, and is served with delicious brown bread. Other options include pulled pork sandwiches, burgers and American style wings. The staff are very... More

Arrived approximately 7pm on a Sunday evening without any booking. Was immediately advised to anticipate a 25 minute wait. Decided to wait and have a drink at the bar. We found the staff to be very welcoming and were given regular updates on when a table would become available. True to form, after pretty much 25 minutes exactly since we... More

This was our second trip in 1 week to the restaurant and we totally enjoyed the food on our first visit. My partner had the same meal of crab claws again and equally enjoyed the meal. I had a starter of chicken wings which were plentiful and in my estimation the best chicken wings I had bar one American Establishment.... More

We ate here earlier in the month and were definitely impressed. The quality of food was the best in Limerick and the taste was amazing. The price was very good for the food received. We had the chowder, chicken wings and calamari. The service was outstanding and atmosphere was very relaxed. We will be back!!

Came here because of the proximity to activities and ratings from TA. Excellent choice. The seafood chowder was fantastic. One of the heaters on the patio was broken so just a little bit chilly. However that worked out well as the chowder was very hot. Fish and chips and bangers and mash rounded out the meal and were tasty as... More

I've eaten in this seafood bar around 20 times and never been disappointed. Its great for lunch or an evening meal. They stop serving at 8pm so you need to get there early if its busy and they don't take table bookings. almost everything on the menu is excellent but my favourite is the Seafood chowder. its unbeatable. having tasted...
