We were recommended to have lunch in this awesome restaurant as the day was lovely and they have a terrace, and we wanted to eat seafood. The place is lovely, the waiter who attended us spoke French and was very nice to us. The food delicious. We order fish and chips, crab, calamaris, salmon ... Everything came out perfect....we recommend... More

A cozy little place recommended by our hotel staff that served great seafood. The staff was friendly & professional. We ate inside because of our group size, but the view outside overlooked the river.

The food and atmosphere here are great. The seafood chowder is the best we ever tasted! We ate here all the nights we were in Limerick! Nice atmosphere with the outside seating too, overlooking the River Shannon and St. John's castle. Service is very attentive and friendly.

My husband and I enjoyed our meal at the Curragower last night! He had the fish and chips (he claims they were the best during our trip!) and I had the burger, both delicious! You can't beat the view in Limerick... the River Shannon and King John's Castle!

Nice location with good indoor and outdoor facilities and friendly staff. Great views of the Shannon and Limerick city from the outdoor (covered) area. Food, however, has a lot of room for improvement. A good starter of salmon and haddock fishcakes was followed by a very disappointing Prawn Pil Pil. With hindsight this is more of a starter dish, however,... More

The location of this bar has to be one of the best in Limerick. Food is superior quality. Chowder fantastic. Fish pie to die for. Guinness so so good & to top it off brilliant friendly staff. There is always a buzz there. Not to be missed

We went in the Curragower for a Sunday lunch. The place was quite busy but we got a table very quickly. The food was excellent. We shared the calamari for starter with an aioli. I then got the prawns pili pili for the main. Prawns weren't dripping in oil and it actually felt like a light main. We were surprised... More

An interesting mix of tourists (probably tripadvisor's fault!) and local, who hold this pub in high regard. The staff are all very friendly, although the service was slow when we visited (it was very busy, even on a Thursday evening). That said, it came out quickly once we'd ordered it, and was extremely tasty. The portions were generous, but not... More

Loved the seabass and crabclaws, really amazing. Decent price for such great food! Cozy bar located just by the water. But one thing that has to be changed is to get the staff to pay more attention to their guests than chat with eachother.

The curragower stands out in the few places in Limerick that specialise in seafood! It is a cut above the rest, staff are pleasant and helpful! The chowder is Devine
