Description: The charming restaurant on the first floor of No. 1 Pery Square is called Sash, referring to that most distinctive feature of these magnificent Georgian houses, the sash window. The name Sash is also, maybe, a nod to the dressing-up appeal of going out to dinner somewhere special! Step into this stylish space through a quirky sash window-shaped door, into a restaurant with views of the surrounding Georgian streetscape, a lovely room with a menu that is quietly confident and traditional, but with the same contemporary twist to be found throughout all of No. 1 Pery Square. Focusing on home cooking with an extra layer of sophistication, the menu at Sash is almost like country house food in the city - showcasing simple but elegant dishes, both classic and contemporary, using old-school, time-proven techniques. Ingredients used are local, seasonal, and reflective of a menu that would have been familiar in the house at the time it was built, recognisable to those original Georgians, with the addition of herbs and leaves grown in No. 1 Pery Square's own kitchen gardens where possible. Sash also has a carefully selected wine list featuring a collection of unique boutique producers & classic selections, ranging from casual wines for relaxed evenings, to rare and hard to find bottles. Sash reflects the attributes of its home in No. 1 Pery Square - being elegant, thoughtful, Irish, historic, with an extra layer of sophistication and character. Sash is a little beacon of old-fashioned conviviality - cosy, not grand, relaxed, not posh - and serving proper food to share and enjoy.

I ate here on New Years Eve, our entire meal was excellent, greta portion sizes, excellent food and friendly service in a warm and inviting restaurant. I couldn't recommend highly enough

This is a lovelyRestaurants. It's decor is beautiful, atmosphere perfect & staff are very friendly & efficient. We were all very happy with our meals which were presented beautifully & tasted fab. Well done to the chefs. I was disappointed with lack of vegetables on plate. I would have had to pay €3.50 for one veg which was absolutely crazy... More

A great afternoon was ruined by bad service, awful food and even worse service when a complaint was made. My sister treated myself and my dauther to afternoon in the Pery on 7th September 2014.We got a warm welcome and were brought upstairs to our table. The waitress took our order for drinks and I asked what the kids sandwiches... More

Four of us went for a meal to this much talked about restaurant to celebrate wedding anniversaries on the 22 August last. We will not be returning. Ever. The food was indeed very tasty but over-priced, unimaginative and definitely not enough of it. To charge 3.50euro extra for a miniscule portion of boring carrots or green beans is to my... More

Myself and my friend ate here last Wednesday night. We had a drink on the terrace first, it was a lovely balmy night and nice to be able to relax before going in for dinner. There was a good selection on the menu, the food was cooked to perfection and topped off by the lovely Chris for whom nothing was... More

The food served in this restaurant is exceptional. I ate here with a group of colleagues and between us we tried pretty much every dish on the menu. The starters and main courses were all lovely, but the deserts really stood out. I don't know what the fallen strawberry desert consists of but it was one of the nicest deserts... More

We had dinner there three times during our stay in Limerick. Our meals were excellent and the service was wonderful. At breakfast, the staff anticipated our needs and were unfailingly gracious. We would be happy to stay there again.
