The French Table is a gem...the food is wonderful, the staff are friendly and unobtrusive. Four of us dined here at the height of the Christmas rush in Limerick and the atmosphere was relaxed but reflected the good cheer of the season. French Onion soup to die for, and their signature dish, the slow cooked lamb is hard to beat.... More

The food here is ok. But was a little on the bland side for me. I ordered rabbit while I was there which really didnt set the world on fire. I love rabbit but this was over cooked and needed a better sauce to accompany it. But the starters and the desserts were very good.

We dropped in for lunch to celebrate 'Little Christmas'. We started with the Tomato and Basil Soup (Carmel) and the Duck Salad (me). For our mains we had the Duck Leg (Carmel) and the Sirloin Steak (me). Both were excellent. We had champagne to celebrate the day. For desserts we had the Ice Cream (Carmel) and Creme Brulee. Scrumptious! To... More

This was my first visit to The French Table, and was with colleagues from work, all of whom had spoken in glowing terms about the high standard of cooking for their previous visits here. I was not disappointed and enjoyed an evening of excellent food and also an outstanding Cote de Rhone. This was also my first experience of foie... More

The food was great, everyone enjoyed their meal immensely! The slow cooked lamb was to die for. The meals were all full of flavour. The portions were a nice size as well feeling full and satisfied after leaving. I'd definitely compare it equally to any of the other restaurants I've visited in Limerick. YUM. The only negative I had would... More

Having read great reviews we were disappointed with menu choices. Perhaps this was because it so close to Christmas. Goose was nothing to rave about. Nor most of meal.

This is a real find, a proper French restaurant with a French chef serving a variety of interesting and tasty dishes. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. It is probably the best restaurant in Limerick. Great food and fantastic wine all served with care and an appreciation of every guests requirements. My wife and I ate on three consecutive... More

I was fortunate this week to have lunch twice in The French Table and with a very good friend on both occasions. There was nowhere else to meet for our Christmas get together than TFT and as always it lived up to our expectations. Having dined there on a number of occasions in the past, I am now in first... I feel its one of the best restaurants in Limerick City(Food & Wine wise) At times it can be a bit small but overall would rate it similarly as before.
