Have just got back from a meal at the Mogul Emperor. Like a previous reviewer, we are staying at the Pier Hotel so this was the nearest Indian .... but this is where the comparison differs ... Service - excellent ... food - excellent .... price very reasonable. All in all I would recommend the place to anyone in the... More

Located on the first floor the place is all in all average: The decoration, the food, the service. We stayed at the Pier Hotel so it was the nearest indian restaurant

This restaurant makes the best tikka masala I've ever had. It was very filling (I think there were ground cashews in it as well), and the sauce was very mildly sweet with coconut. The garlic + cilantro naan is also great. I would absolutely have gone again if we were spending a longer time in Ireland! A tragedy that this... More

Love the food here. Tikka Masala or Pasanda with Lamb or Chicken .....delicious. Premises could probably do with a facelift but don't be put off by that the food will not disappoint.

Like all restaurants throughout Ireland the chef wants to go home and have some down time and this can sometimes be as early as 9 PM thankfully the chef here is in no rush home and you can probably get something to eat close to midnight Wonderful curry available here

One of the best Indian meals I've ever had. The food was especially fresh and beautifully cooked. A nice amount of heat and spice to the dishes and an authentic atmosphere with friendly service. The only negative comment is that the restaurant is not easy to spot - I never knew it was there until it was recommended by a... More

Being dedicated Copper and Spice fans we had heard lots about the Mogul and decided to give it a go-we were not disappointed. The food was excellent-starters and main courses-and the potions were generous. Will DEFINITELY be back again. Deducted 1 star for the entrance area-it almost stopped us going in with the badly fitted carpeting and peeling paint, but... More

After much pub grub, we wanted something to spice up our stomachs and we needed a place that was open late. Our hotel concierge, after informing us with cocked brow how late it was, suggested a steak house or a Chinese place that stay open late in Limerick. Luckily, for us, we happened upon Mogul Emperor. Indian food. We are... More

The Mogul is by far the best Indian in Limerick. I have never been disappointed, the food is always delicious and the staff are friendly. It is great value for money. I have yet to have better Indian food.

Went on a Monday evening on the recommendation of friends; warm welcome, super-attentive service. Ordered a main lamb dish called methi mali mas (spelling could be wrong!!) as suggested by said friend & was definitely not disappointed. My starter was a prawn mix with sweet chilli sauce; also delicious. My partner went for prawn curry on the advice of the... More
