Great staff, service was excellent and the food a big surprise. Ate there twice. Music at night was awesome! Really fun place!

My wife visited the toilet before we left after a nice lunch but she immediately said had she seen the toilet at the start she would not have eaten here. Not a big job to keep toilets clean…! Seems pointless to describe the lunch until they clean up their act.

stopped by on 2 nights - first night had traditional music, second night more R&B. Both nights the pub was very crowded- but it is rather small. If you want music- great choice

Amazing pub, great athmosphere, great music and a most hospitable host in former Kilkenny hurler John Mc Donald. If you do one thing in Kilkenny visit this pub which oozes character.

The barman was really cold and unfriendly. We accepted drinks we didn't order and at the end we even didn't get all of our change back. But the worst might be the picture with Adolf Hitler on their wall.

Great pub, don't walk past! Lovely pint, good quality pub better than the usual pub junk. Themed bar with a great atmosphere.

On arrival, we found it was busy downstairs and we're promptly greeted by a friendly American waitress who brought us upstairs and showed us to a table. The food arrived and did not disappoint. The starter buffalo chicken wings were really nice and my main of 10oz steak was expertly cooked. The chips were exactly as I like them; very... More
