Absolutely fantastic. We had the three course early bird and were completely taken aback by the quality and quantity of food for such a reasonable price! All local produce as well! The staff were so friendly and pleasant too. Highly recommend it!

I have been here several times for lunch and I must say the food is excellent, the staff efficient and friendly. The down side for me is that the place is noisy. I think it must be something to do with the acoustics of the room because it's certainly not that the clientele are rowdy! It is always full which... More

We visited on Monday 23 June, we were very early as we had a long journey to get to Kilkenny and we were hungry. A very friendly girl told us to call back at around half 5 as the kitchen was changing over from lunch, so we went for a walk and came back. We were the only table in... More

This was just right for us to have a lunch after a long day of flying in to Dublin and then training to Kilkenny. So cozy and refreshing

Arrive for a latish lunch, so restaurant was quiet. We were welcomed and served promptly. I thought the menu was a bit limited. I had lamb which was not as tender as it might have been and thought the bill a bit over the average. Nothing bad but only average

My husband and I ate here on Good Friday. We had been eating pub food for most of our stay and we were very happy with this restaurant. For one thing, the three course meal was wonderful! It was reasonably priced and unlike other fancy restaurants you get a lot of food. The dessert was wonderful and the fish very... More

Have been here a few times as I love the pasta and my partner always has the fish. Pasta, as ever, was gorgeous, but fish special this time was Plaice and was quite watery and didn't really taste of much, so wee bit disappointed. Service was mixed, the waitress was lovely and really friendly, the chap seemed in a bit... More

Ive eat here a few times...mainly at lunch and find it great. Good menu, lots of choices, and varied prices. Eat here for dinner once or twice...found the menu limited and can be quite pricey. Food is ALWAY fresh and delicious - good option for a nice lunch (with wine)
