Helpful and fun

The food was great! The servers were nice and helpful especially Clare, who got us a private ghost tour with Dylan. There was good music and river dancing. A very good time. (Could have taken food and drink orders a little faster.)

This is a typical good old Irish bar downstairs but upstairs it has remarkable windows and a high ceiling which may mean it is a converted church. They have various groups of singers and music but I thoroughly enjoyed the traditional music downstairs played and sung by a three-piece group - standing room only!

Stopped here for what I thought would be only dinner, but in the end stayed longer. I had Irish stew, that was soft and delicious, some beer and some whiskey. Very friendly waiters and two live acts, firstly a lovely gentleman with a guitar and then a two member production with an Irish dancer to accompany some songs. And meanwhile... More

Nice for lunch. Huge screen television, the whole wall. Food was what we expected. The service was however a bit slow. Panini was tasty my wife ordered a BLT forgetting that B is more like ham. We enjoyed a pint of Smithwick's brewed locally and we're off for a short walk to the castle.

We stopped here for lunch while on our tour of Ireland. What a great little place. Staff was so welcoming. They were great at handling a big crowd all at once. Food was delicious. Beer too! Loved the big screen TV to watch a Hurling game. A family owned restaurant, can't say enough about Ciara one of the owners. She... More

Have been there three times and I have to say I really like it. The staff are friendly and pub grub is lovely. I have also had evening meals in the restaurant. Very good and value for money

This is a fantastic family owned traditional Irish pub. We went with friends on one of the last nights of our two week stay in Ireland. This was by far one of our best pub experiences. The food was delicious, great service and the best entertainment of the entire trip. Traditional and contemporary music and talented Irish dancers that get... More

My husband and another couple went for an early dinner and only planned on staying for one drink....which turned into all night. Once the music and dancing started, we were hooked. Band played a good mixture of traditional and contemporary. The crowd was really involved. Highlight was when the traditional Irish dancer did the moonwalk. Loved it. Bartender was not... More

Only stopped in for a few drinks before our event that was held here. Bartender was kind, only had the stew which was very good. The bar atmosphere seems nice as well. Very clean and a good liquor selection.
